@michgarcia-w4z I agree, and I mean, it's not like a crazy amount of primos, I've just done like 1 or 2 and they weren't that bad... really "internet survey-y"/flash game-y though
For reference, I started playing the game on 10/7/20, or 10 days after the release. Never missed a day after that. I have 54 five stars in total, including both characters and weapons. I spent $176 in total (went fully F2P after first year or so). Currently holding about 330 limited wishes and 150 standard wishes. 50/50 win/loss ratio = 3/15 which is no joke as I've only ever won 3 50/50 since the release of the game 4 years ago.
You know that the 50/50 actually is closer to a 60/40 if you dont spend money once every patch? Its why most people at least buy the smallest primo pack if they cant afford welkin, though you should buy welkin.
@@aliwi3476 For that 0.6% chance that Hoyo might eventually overhaul the standard banner in some way, such as adding fate points or the existing gacha-only 4* weapons, etc. Plus I simply don't need the vast majority of what's being offered on the standard banner right now.
Not sure if you guys remember the primogem sweepstakes back in the day. It was a 1 million primogem grand prize........ and I don't know who won it. I bet that person stopped playing LOL.
Idk about milion, but there was that Bilion Primogems thing. I think it happened once or twice, but since it was split between everyone, you could have gotten either 108 or 168 or something.
As a week 1 f2p with 100% exploration up to Natlan that kept backup of all his wishes I have farmed ~440k worth of primos for rate up wishes and ~730 standard wishes (~117k primos). I believe you didn't count the wishes from the monthly shop with in 4y counts for ~77k primos and the "chashback" for dups. 6:48 your f2p estimate is considerably off by at least 60%. Most likely a little more since I missed a few limited time rewards here and there. If you want I can show you my wish history and savings.
Clearly impossible seeing as how this dude did all the math and showed that, even while being generous, there is no possible way you can make 500k primos as a f2p. Not unless someone else buys stuff for you and you consider that as f2p since you "technically" didn't pay for it yourself.
@@sabaricreation6378 I would like to correct my previous statement. After leaving my comment I found other comments that mentioned how he forgot about sigils, for the Tablet, Fountain, and the Trees, which I never noticed. And apparently those, plus the web events that are numerous, apparently make up for about 200k primos. (I'm skeptical, but...) So while, with him only getting to 500k with Welkin, top ups and BP (which are NOT f2p), apparently, it is still possible to make it WITH f2p. Until proven otherwise anyway. Meaning that with those three things you can apparently get 700k, only purchusing each top up once per patch. That's still 5 dollars every 30 days since release plus another ~200 dollars every major patch (so literally 1000 from top ups alone) +10 (or 20 for the extra 10 levels) every *normal* patch. It equates to a lot of money. 2000 minimum across 4 years.
The 151500 primos from welkins is actually insane. You are spending $280 for that amount, still, given then time you have to wait, it's still such a huge profit
"Every f2p primo you can earn". "If you bought every welkin and battlepass since launch..." Edit: just did the maths if you bought every welkin and battlepass since launch you would have spent ~£750 or about 1,000 usd
You're missing out on approximately 200.000 primogems for the F2P side. I doubt it's where all of the primogems are lacking from, but you simply gloss over the sigil shops entirely for some reason (the sacred sakura tree, amurata pool, dream onion, dragonspine tree, etc). Noblies on youtube has been playing on his no wish account since pretty much day 1 and has just recently hit 500.000 primogems, without welkin/top-ups or battle passes (also just primogems, not counting limited or standard wishes). Probably best to add a disclaimer, or edit the video to fix that. Still, neat idea for the video. Keep it up!
They're accounted for as raw fates. At the top of the chart at 6:05 you can see "Paimon's Shop", this is the purchasable 5 fates every month. What I didn't do was breakdown all the sources of the fates and instead just lumped them together for the sake of brevity and showed my chart on screen. I also mentioned their primo value but showed the raw wishes instead. Same applies for all the trees/regional offerings. They're in that chart and accounted for as wishes, not primos.
@@Ratheil You're right I missed that section, however, that still does not include the primogem count from Amrita Pool (600 primo's) and current max of Natlan's Tablet of Tona (1500 primo's). Now again, in the grand scheme of things that's peanuts with what's missing from your F2P calculation, somewhere around the 200k primogems (actually might even be more than that considering that F2P does not mean no wishing, in which case you'd be getting more characters = more stardust, more teapot rewards, etc..). Considering my own no wish account which I've been playing sporadically (definitely not daily) for less than a year has just about 100k primogems saved up, without having 100% any region besides mondstadt, 500 achievements, and currently at sumeru's archon quest, barely any world quests done, no story quests or hangouts done, no trees completed, only statues maxed are mondstadt and liyue for stamina and no abyss completing (I think I've gotten to floor 10 twice on that account). I must assume there's a source of primogems that you're overlooking.

I fear I'm already running out of things to collect soon because everyone always gives a different answer to the question, “How many permanent primos/pulls can you get from the map alone?”
good video, but I think it'd be nice to have a more separated overview of different totals at the end. You started adding welkin, battle pass and even top-up bonuses at the end, which contrar to the title are not F2P. A big spreadsheet-like graphic at the end showing the totals for F2P, Welkin + BP, and Top-up separated, as well as an overview of the different categories would add a lot.
