I hung out with Chrileon after the show in Switzerland (totally cool dude btw!), and he admitted that there was in fact no dragon in the video because they couldn't afford the CGI animation lol. "You don't drive a Ferrari playing Power Metal these days", were his exact words.
Well to be fair, it only took 2 albums for Gloryhammer to go from 'simple video of the band performing in a ruin with some cheap effects' to 'Green-screen extravaganza of the band performing on a CGI meteor while battling alien demons', so give it another album or so and Twilight Force will hopefully have enough clout to get their CGI dragons :D
It took Dragonforce 7 albums to finally get a dragon in their video, and they're actual DRAGONforce... pretty sure their time will come

@@phillipbug958 Unfortunately, his voice and Twilight Force's magical power metal were a match made in heaven. Northtale lacks the magical part. Both "parties" are great now ofc and I still enjoy hearing them, but they caught a lighting in a bottle when they were together

i struggle with depression but Powermetal like this band help me to smile again and feel somwhat better. this is one of the better power metal bands that give me a smile on my face because of how happy metal this looks and how funny it is. its like Gloryhammer and Rhapsody of Fire with Dragonland too. epic and makes me feel somewhat better...

another metalgenre that makes me happy for some weird reason is Slam death metal. there is something about those death metal riffs and the drumpattern that makes me giggle whenever i hear Slam. but thats a way different genre and you cant understand what they say. i enjoy both but if it comes for feeling better, i rather prefer powermetal, though slam is just very funny in my opinion.
the drumpatterns in slam are mostly catchy and the riffs as well. but its just growling and gutterals and i prefer high singing of most powermetal bands.

This music is pure magic. Powerful, melodic, majestic. Pure fantasy metal. This guys are the best thing that happened to power metal in the last 15 years. One of the greatest band in the moment.

Larping is really fun! I just moved away from a pretty good one. It was weaker on storyline, but logistically character management and stuff was smooth as butter.
If you find one, usually you can get a waived attendance fee, or a discounted one by signing up to be a monster/NPC only for that event if you just want to dip your toes in.
I didn't know them a few weeks ago but then I saw them live as a warm-up band for sabaton and now I'm obsessed with their music! They're amazing live, they seem like really nice people and of course the music is really good!! It always puts me into another world full of magic!

I'm gonna get something off my chest. I've seen offical reviews on this band, and I've seen the comments here.
This band is highly mocked and called "Disney Metal" and "A parody of real Power Metal bands."
Now I don't mind the "Disney Metal" claims, but people are using it as an insult against them when in reality this band is inspired by folk lore of the medieval times.
As if Rhapsody don't have songs about Dragons, Kings, and legends.
Even more upsetting is that people ignore this bands hard work and the only thing they focus on in their offical reviews is the lead singer. This band has incredible compositions and talented musicians who work on making everysong unique. Which now bleeds to a new point.
Generic. This word is the used to describe this band, and it fucking sends me. There is no other band that has the same soaring vocals and symphonic approach to power metal this band has. Every song is different and in no way sounds like anything I've ever heard in power metal. There's nothing generic about Twilight Force.
I rate Twilight Force as high as I can in the power metal scene. And I wish people would just enjoy this unique approach to power metal.

I walked past a shop that sells swords today and immediately thought of this song xD I admit I'm not a huge fan but I saw these guys live and this song is stuck in my head.
Funny i went to Sweden to visit a buddie of mine and he showed me this band and I will say it's nothing like I ever seen I really loved it so when I get back stateside I'm downloading all the albums
So many ppl hate this lol. Idk why, because their creativity and ability to compose songs like these is simply amazing. Like, every single song on their new album is composed as if it's the score for a epic video game or movie. Highly talented these guys are, and they are having a blast doing this music. you can clearly tell by the video. IDC that the band is about fantasy, it's still epic music and these tunes will have you feeling successful all day lmao.Not to mention...they got Fabio Lione to make a guest appearance on this album too. THAT is awesome. :D
