For sure! So Everbee actually has a profit estimation calculator and then I also just know from my other stores but this will vary widely based of product line. For example, the digital study guides are easily clearing 85% profit, no shipping or per item COG, etc. they’re basically paying Etsy service fees, listing fees and then whatever softwares they use. On the other end, a “good” profit margin for POD would be 30% but if you offer personalization it could go as high as 40%. For physical products that are not POD, you could easily get to 50% profit margins and if you stick with one line and bundle (similar to the gift box option) you can start reducing your COGS by buying in larger bulk from the wholesaler and I personally think you could get to a 65% profit margin! Of course starting a new product will be when you have the lowest profit as you and competing more on price until you get reviews and test the market so you can order in bulk from your supplier so it may take a little bit to get to these types of profit margins but it is VERY realistic! I’m sorry to hear that. It’s actually quite common for brand new shops - Etsy is trying to confirm everything is good to go I think. It’s been a long time but this also happened to me when I opened my shop and I think it was resolved in about 3 days…
