Talking about pointy toed boots - - I 'm a couple of decades ahead of you, but I wore pointed toed 5 inch high heels in the '50's & 60's as a teenager, and I loved them!!! And my feet weren't ruined ! Fashions come & go, but feet have ensured it all. FYI, I wore pointed toed 4 inch heels to my granddaughter's wedding when I was 77 yrs old. And I am here living to tell the story , and i'm not crippled ! 😂😅
I remember wearing those pointy toed high heels & now I think they look ridiculous... I can no long wear stiletto heels due to knee/foot problems; I don't know if the pointy ones or just the high heels contributed to my problems but I do know that for a long time I couldn't wear flat shoes as it hurt my arches & that I contribute to over 30 year continuous high heels
I'm in North Los Angeles County, and I told my Dentist I had a small glass of wine before my visit. He thought that was a great idea. Now the nurses on the other hand were not pleased. Apparently, it's a no no to have wine before a dentist appointment. I'll keep quiet the next time 😊
Nurse Ratched here- if you have a choice, it is better always to not put your fingers back into the medication (or even a gloved hand.) Certainly the ointment or paste will kill some of the fungi that gets in the salve from that second dip, but not all and not the bacteria, spores, amoebas, etc. nor the blood cells, pus, or even poop dust that are on the extremity. You have good logic though about why wouldn't they put it in a tube then, but who knows It might even be they were focusing on convenience and forgot about contamination. If not sure about how much will be needed, keep the other hand clean and use it, or use clean plastic ware and scoop two spoons worth, to start and just pull from those. PS You are to be commended for how gentle you are and thorough you are in the coverage. Glad you called the vet- good call!
Planting the garden is delayed because the process is necessary. Jason is a fancy farmer. Cog Hill is a special place because you all take such good care of it. Terrific video! Have a great week!💕
Miss Peaches got her some Spring Fever. I bet these temps are are not too cool or too hot, she is enjoying it. Every now and then the Boss Lady is on the floor, and showing up where you don't expect. LOL
Good evening Cog Hill. Was caught up in other business and missed your live. I’m always so happy to have an opportunity to watch later. Blessings to you both and MC
They just did an article on tv about cobblers.. they were getting a million hits, which was crazy. We got storms coming tomorrow but not bad ones. Then back to 50's after tomorrow for Michigan dang it. Biscuits and gravy for supper yum. Thanks for another great live. Have fun at the meet and greet and Petals.
Great video yall. Thanks for the time you spend to make videos for us especially when you’re so busy. Your farm looks great and the flowers are going to be very beautiful when they are in full bloom. Blessings from OKC.❤
Jason you are hilarious taking that boot off a dozen times. The story about watching the shoe cobbler made me laugh. You sir are a boot concierge. You go guy!
Re: root canals. I had my first root canal about 2.5 months ago. (I am 83 years old.) Three weeks later the tooth broke off at the gum line and I had to go to an Oral Surgeon and get the roots cut out.
My experience is that root canals rarely end up good. They wanted to do 2 (at different times) on back teeth. I'm 79 and said nope both times. Pull 'em and I've never regretted it.
VERY important....i had to get prescription toothpaste with floride in it. We moved to a housewith well water and my teeth became really bad in about 10 years. I wish i would have known about the toothpaste. No cavities in over a year!!!
New Hampshire had a lovely 65 and sunny. I finished my Cog Hill dark roast and will currently be switching to water processed DeCaf. ☕️ 👍 You guys are talking Roses 🌹 andmy daffodils are just recovering from our last snow ❄️ Hope you all keep dodging that rough weather. 🙏 Btw... Loved seeing your field of enchanting radish flowers... Happy Bees, Happy Moody. 😊
I think Peaches room needs a little decorating. She loves her room, she can be close to her friends. And have her personal space. A portrait of Peaches, pictures of friends would look nice. 😊
Life changes after 40, then again after 50. Then after 60, it changes year by year. Still good, but you just get tired sooner and sooner and a little slower. By the time you're 70, it becomes work awhile and nap a while. I tell people that I work 15 minutes and then take a 30 minute nap. Not quite that bad but.....😅
On the medicine for the donkey. That makes perfect sense. On the cross cantaminsoin so yes use a popsicle stick. To medicate the area. I love your videos and podcasts and live videos. You all make my day. Thank you. Love you all.
Don't get dental insurance unless the treatment outweighs the premiums for the insurance. You are better off banking your own money that it would cost for your monthly payments.
Hi. You can click like on tv. When you're on the page on tv, click the up arrow and it should give you the like button, press select once you get the button you want. Have a great day
I asked my grandpa way back in 1965... is the pointed toe for killing cockroach in the corner? He said yes. Now he had corraels in the back with his team of horses, pigs and cows and chickens. the entire city had roaches. But you could eat off any surface in grandma's house. He wore pointed toe boots his 97 years. I was visiting one summer and I put my foot in my tennis shoe, and I smashed one of those big black roaches. YUCKERS!! Yes, I screamed. ❤❤❤ love you guys!
Root Canales only lasts 6 to 10 years. They don't tell you that. You can get delta discount for 60 a year until the other insurance let's her on it. It can be used immediately for discounts. Sure saved me a lot of money.
Love ya Jason - I never go to denist without a milk shake in vehicle when I'm done there! They always wonder why I heal so quickly. Anyway, it must be the planet we come from, on the shots that is. HA HA. 😂
My son is the exact same way when they try to numb his teeth. They’ve tried everything to get him more comfortable but he just has to go through it the hard way. It just breaks my heart to know y’all have to endure that kind of pain.
As far as root canals go, the only complication can be when the tooth roots can fracture and cause infection, then the tooth has to be pulled, then the decision is to do a bridge to place a false tooth where the pulled tooth was or put an implant in where the pulled tooth used to be. Implants are $3-4,000 though (quite expensive).
I have trouble with boots due to having a narrow foot(6’2” 275 lbs ) and a size 13 C size boot! I used to buy a product called leather stretcher fluid which causes the leather to form to your foot and ankle! I would put it on everyday for about 2 weeks and my feet never hurt and my boots from Red. Wing would last 3 to 4 years and worked in a frozen food manufacturer (Eggo waffles) and I wore Red Wings for 40 years!
I just thought 'Antiques in the Garden' was referencing roses...antique roses. LOL 😂 They are the only rose I grow... thanks to Mike Shoup here in Texas. I'll bet he and Jason at Petals attended Texas A & M together... BIG hugs from Texas! 🤠🥰
My best friend's son lives in OK in Waynoka and the area is known as tornado alley. Mike said the tornados go through there a lot. I told him I sure wouldn't live there, the earthquakes in CA are bad enough. Mike was born and raised in CA.
Yes. The bacteria in mouth can continue to eat down on crowns. Fermentation I think it is called where bone disintegrates and spacing between tooth and root opens to greater evils. It can just totally needs to go with need for implant.
Pointed boots, It’s to get in and out of the stirrups, out so you don’t get dragged on the ground, your foot slips out easier. Also heels are for stirrups too, so your foot doesn’t get stuck.
When you treat hoof fungus in horse, you really dig it out and use povidone iodine scrub and povidone iodine ointment, which is really thick like bearing grease, you pack it in to the hoof and all over the hoof and ankle.
A co-worker turned 40 and we were having birthday cake. I told him all will be well after you get your teeth fixed. He said, there is nothing wrong with my teeth to which I replied “ there will be”.
I live in a tornado alley in Moundville. If weather man says Greene Co you start listening in Moundville. If he says Eutaw. We start moving. Because it follows the Black Warrior River and co es right west of us and crosses over into Tuscaloosa. Just a mile away from us.
Boots have different uses hence they are made differently. You have pointed toe, snip toe, roper, square toe, etc. You want to see something interesting…look at Mexican pointy boots (boats picudas mexicanas) They dance in these and they are very decorative. It is amazing to see them dance in them.
Well? I’ll tell you that back in the day (early 60s) they used to sell those pointy shoes for little boys, so my mom bought some for my brother to wear when she dressed him up. He ended up developing bunions on his toes which caused him a lot of pain. He had surgery on them and they came back I think twice! 😢
I ran to Selma, Alabama when Hurricane Katrina hit the Ms Coast...I managed to get one of the last rooms in a hotel there...I live within a mile from the Gulf...scary time.
Also, there is no blood flow to the root canal teeth so they can fracture very easily! Which would be a huge change in dental work & costs if the break off at the gumline. Be careful eating hard things or grinding your teeth.
Replay # I don't think I'd cross the street from the dentist to the bar. Can u imagine tying to take a drink when the novacane hasn't wore off yet and people are looking at u and u don't know why. As your drink runs out of the side of your mouth and down the side of your face and on to your clothes lol.
Lol! Think he ment before you go in. I, as a drinker meny yrs ago, always had a drink before doing anything important. Grew up in childrens home and was afraid of anything in life when young adult.
My husband’s grandfather was a cobbler and when my Hubby was young and get a new pair of shoes , his grandfather would take the shoes apart and remake them 🐼
I had a root canal fall out of my mouth! That's when I gave up on saving my teeth and went to dentures. I spent way too much money on my mouth for my teeth to just continue falling apart.
The pointed cowboy boots were called cockroaches killers in CA. My husband was no cowboy, but he loved wearing them. I wore pointed toe heels and if you got the right size they didn't hurt your toes. So funny.
The difference in Peaches since she moved to the barn is amazing.

Darn...that's nice. I got my grandma's wide feet including toes. When the square toe shoes came out in late 60's and 70's, my feet were finally happy!
You’re a lucky lady that’s probably active & fit. I’m 65 and plump-no way could I wear them.
73 and I still do for special occasions and boot heels a lot in the winter. Love the look.
You go girl 💕

I know they can give you a mild sedative beforehand if you are anxious.
Potato soup. With corn bread.😊😊

Jason , you not only one! I like to watch these grass cutting , yard lawn service people doing people's yards! I know, sounds crazy😂
Miss Peaches got her some Spring Fever. I bet these temps are are not too cool or too hot, she is enjoying it. Every now and then the Boss Lady is on the floor, and showing up where you don't expect. LOL
I was never so happy as the day your Storm Shelter got installed. 😊 🙏
Good evening Cog Hill. Was caught up in other business and missed your live. I’m always so happy to have an opportunity to watch later. Blessings to you both and MC

I love to watch Cobbler videos too. It’s so interesting.
Peaches is all slim and trim now! She's felling feisty!
My dad wore those boots all of my life and I wore them for maybe 30 years. They are every comfortable m

In our case, it’s well worth the $25 a month we pay.
Watched you live on TH-cam on the TV. Came back here to commit. Great live. And give you a thumbs up. Can’t do that on the TV.

❤ My grandfather was a cobbler.
Have a great day Petals from the Past.
Missed you live. Checking in now
Me too.
Lester dispatched two venomous snakes, that were in the pond. 😮
I went and drove from Athens GA last year. I stayed in birmingham and took ghost tour that night. I enjoyed it.
Love ya Jason - I never go to denist without a milk shake in vehicle when I'm done there!
They always wonder why I heal so quickly.
Anyway, it must be the planet we come from, on the shots that is. HA HA. 😂
Like me also! Never had door dash. Make my own food. Why pay double for one meal? I love watching you guys so much ❤

I had an upper tooth fracture. Had to have it pulled. Price of implants are pretty high. I’m thinking a dentistry school might be a little cheaper.
Sorry I missed the live - catching it now.
Jason if you getting root canals they will lastlast about 12 or more you will end up haveing to have them removed.😊😊
Yes, they always crack or fall out costing you double pain too!!
My young adult life they always sedated me heavily to do any dental work. Plus the lovely laughing gas. Lol1
NBC news has a segment on a Lakeland, Florida cobbler. Might want to watch it since you were talking about cobblers.
Roses are one of my favorite flowers next is purple Lilacs
I missed the live I am watching your video at 11:00 Tuesday night I am in western North Carolina . god bless Cog Hill Farm
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO Jason and Brooke 😊
Thanks for sharing again.😊
When Jason talks about Goldie strutting it always cracks me up.
Great “live”. Hope you have a nice weekend.

Peaches might be in her season ❤ your correct the pointed toes are so cowboys can put their boot toe in the stirrups.
When you treat hoof fungus in horse, you really dig it out and use povidone iodine scrub and povidone iodine ointment, which is really thick like bearing grease, you pack it in to the hoof and all over the hoof and ankle.

God bless ya'll ❤❤❤
Twisted X has a good light work boot square toe..great insole and light to wear all day...like wearing sneakers!
Brook, you were correct about cowboy boots. They have a point so they could easily slip their feet into the stirrup.
Always a good day when I can welcome you into my home.
I had a root canal twice on the same tooth. 25 years later they pulled it and I got an implant. I guess it was still considered a success.
Googled point toe boots. Early 1900s made so they go into stirrups easy. But now a days cowboys haven't worn them since 50-60s.
I live in a tornado alley in Moundville. If weather man says Greene Co you start listening in Moundville. If he says Eutaw. We start moving. Because it follows the Black Warrior River and co es right west of us and crosses over into Tuscaloosa. Just a mile away from us.
79 here in Lakewood Ca. today.
❤❤ Brook I ordered me some of mollie cream I got hurt Saturday I pray I get it fast😊😊
Grew up w/ horses should use a stick. Had many fungus infections for different things it’s just safety because some things can transfer.
I had a root canal many years ago and last year I had to have a root canal on the same tooth. 🦷
Peaches was glad to see you Brook!!!!❤
You have an awesome daughter❤

Those cowboy boots are for snake kickers, the toe hits it before the foot.

I’m sure in the Wild West days they took a few shots ahead of time before you got your tooth pulled.
My husband’s grandfather was a cobbler and when my Hubby was young and get a new pair of shoes , his grandfather would take the shoes apart and remake them 🐼
My husband tried to get our daughter to mow our small front yard. She was terrified of the mower. She screamed thru the first 2 passes then quit.
Napping at the time this was on but just watch the rerun and enjoyed so thank you.
The drainage pipe may feel like her own personal lanai.
Plus she can spy on mice
Pointed toe boots are for riding. To fit the saddle stirrup. That's why boots have heels also.
Brooke I heard rosemary is good for inflammation hope it helps
❤❤❤
I had a root canal fall out of my mouth! That's when I gave up on saving my teeth and went to dentures. I spent way too much money on my mouth for my teeth to just continue falling apart.
I should own stock in Ro-tel. I use them in almost anything requiring tomatoes. My chicken spaghetti absolutely requires Ro-tel.
Its coban. I remember when it first came out.I'm a nurse and it was great for so many applications.
I wish I lived closer, would love to come see ya'll. Petals from the past should like an amazing place
Spring is in the air, Peaches is Twitter Paytted. 😂❤
I was driving down the highway and passed a driverless currier van. 😳 I got away from it as soon as I could safely do so. 🤪
Auto Vehicles will be the next auto elevator. They weren’t trusted at first either.
The pointed cowboy boots were called cockroaches killers in CA. My husband was no cowboy, but he loved wearing them. I wore pointed toe heels and if you got the right size they didn't hurt your toes. So funny.
Catty wampus is near me in GA. They are at my farmers market in Winder GA on saturdays
