I play sims quite a lot. I always buy then lottery tickets, always. And I never won xD
I once did when i had two families in the same world I bought a ticket with the first familiy but won with the other but they didnt buy one 🤷♀️😂
1 won the lottery in the sims and i wouldn't do it again. just feels like cheating having that much money.
@@marvelpower9674 every single sim in the world buys a ticket, so the more sims you have in the world the worst chance you have to winning. So when you left your other family they auto bought a ticket.

I remember to try on rags to rich because I bored on The Sims 4, trying to be famous as a street musician. But the game decided to make me stop playing the sims 4 by won a lottery. I surprised, laughed because the challenge is easy, play another game.
the autograph hunter method is a little too realistic for my taste XD
Here’s one that could work have a kleptomaniac sim and raise their mischief skill and become a interior decorator then when at a another sims house find their most expensive items and “borrow them”
If you have Get Together, you can set Swipe Objects as a club activity. It lets you take a wider variety of objects than the regular klepto trait and you don't need to use a trait slot for it. You can also have clubs meet anywhere and fill up its members with your household only.

@@ElysiaWhitemoonOmega there’s a work around take a cabinet like a chest of draws something will be in it the item on top of it will be added to your inventory
making money in Sims 4 is so easy, why would you even cheat when you can get rich so fast.
in my 100 baby challenge I made the matriarch have a garden and simply sell all the plants once they mature and now she already has more money than my OG family did working their entire lives...

My current sim her parents are big celebs. When struggling for money she kept asking for autographs.
They are also fun remembrance pics for when they die. My sims are always big on collecting them.
I had no idea that the autograph becomes worth more after a couple of days. More than a 100k.. wow :))
Autographs increase in value? Is that a bug or still working? It would be great to have a collection of autographs and the Copypasto them.
My favorite way will probably always be getting a bunch of rose plants and when the bloom put the in your household inventory then place the plants again. Each flower will sell for $144 each and even a small garden can produce 20k a day

parties were my first way of getting extra cash, some of the rewards were worth so much and your sim gets to have a party!
Dates are a decent way to make money too. You don't even need to go out. Just talk for a few hours and be rewarded. In Sims 2 I regularly got one of the higher end stereos.

*snork* Yeah, you can get some pretty wild stuff dumpster diving. . .but if you want the REAL simoleons, go with the dust bunnies. James Turner was SO CRANKY when he started seeing Jungle Adventures treasures fetched by those things. XD
Here is another: you need the pets pack for this. Get two cats. One male one female. Make sure they are adults. Have them breed. If the cat gives birth you sell the kittens. Rinse and repeat. But make sure to keep two male and female kittens for when the originals die. Voila! You’ve got a quick money maker. Just make sure to take care of them so they don’t get taken away.

You can also just use your sim's smartphone camera to make money at the very start of the game by taking pictures. You can either take freeform pictures of random objects around you (including blank walls) or perform social interactions to take pictures of other sims or take selfies with them. If you perform the social interactions, you also gain friendship with the sim you just took pictures of. Either way, you now have a bunch of photos in your sim's inventory that you can sell for money.

Flower arrangement is still my superior way of getting money! One of my sims had her Flower Arrangement skill up to Level 8 and had gardens full of flowers she needs. She only have to spend few sims hours to produce a $1,000+ flower and have the rest of the day to just chill hehe
I can earn 3,000 to 4,500 from authentication of relic. The sim should have at least level 9 in archeology skill and ut takes only an hour to finish the authentication.
I know a method which is not about fast making money but about stability: move into any San Myshuno flat and collect posters every day in your area (I'm not sure but they appear once or twice a day) and sell them. sometimes you can find posters which cost 200 simoleons for one. also you can do this with snow balls but the are quite cheap, even the rare ones. for my Sims that was enough to pay bills and pay for education without getting a job

Step 1: Start the game with zero simolians.
Step 2: Use your phone to take a dozen pictures of random objects or sims.
Step 3: Sell the photos.
Step 4: Profit!

I believe if you go to the festivals and get any items and sell them, you should get money.

I have a method for infinite food.
You need:
•A slob sim(s)
•trash can
•sink
•fridge
So basically what you do is you collect the glass of water from the sink and throw it in the garbage. Then use the slob sim to dig in the trash. You can get yogurt, salad, oatmeal, etc. all for free except for cost of sink, trashcan and fridge to keep your foods.
You can do the domphin method, but with bees instead (you need seasons pack)
After you scavenge for parts, your sim can pick up the trash pile - as if they're going to throw it away - then you cancel the interaction. And you can scavenge for parts again. It's a little time consuming but a great way to get upgrade parts easily. Just make sure the trash pile is a long way from the rubbish bin, because they will get there eventually.
I recently had a Sim win the lottery. he was pregnant by an alien at the time and his wife was also pregnant. He had the Child of the Islands trait so we lived in Sulani and did a lot of the festivals and such. What I didn't know was that honoring the culture gives this playful moodlet that just doesn't go away and is so strong that it even overrode those potions you can buy from the rewards store. I built them this beautiful house and after his daughter was born, he aged her into a toddler and died of hysteria.
Your water glass trick made me realize you could combine it with the Seasons decoration totes. Rummage for decorations and throw out anything under a certain amount and directly sell anything over that amount.
I've been challenging myself since TS1 on the PS2. I used to cheat in The Sims 1 but it killed the fun after that. Im actually happy when im poor. I find it satisfying when I go from poor to rich in just a day or so just by these small methods and working hard!

Did you ever find the scientist sims one? Keep buying seeds on the lab lot as a scientist and you keep all the seeds. It even works on the rare seeds, so you can end up with death flowers, money tree seeds and glowing seeds. Quite profitable!

Hopefully you will do more unusual ways to make money in other Sims game. I know few ways on each game though.
Sims 2 bon voyage: You can earn many thousands simoleons by Digging for Treasure.
Sims 3 seasons: You can get expensive flowers in the park, at school playground or anywhere. It can be sold over 1000 simoleons everyday
Edit: Sims 3 university: Once you arrive to the university. Look for a dorm name: Tri-Fruhm Sorority. Which is a female dorm with vehicle garages. Then move in. Then you can sell your college friend's sports vehicle. Easiest 100,000 simoleons you can get!
I use Plopsy to sell photos. The better the quality the more the amount. Also since Dream Home Decorator I've been using it to sell Before and After Photos for cash. My Sim is making over €100 extra per day. It's also very easy with Moschino and the Get Together Photo Studios to make extra Plopsy money too with portraits.
Its 6:00 AM here where I live and I haven't slept, I knew there was a reason! I'm glad I got here kinda early 😊

Okay I HAVE to share this. Once I was trying to do a rags to riches challenge (Not with the official rules), and I decided to buy a lottery ticket as a joke. That´s the only time I´ve won The Sims 4 lottery.

The method I use is buy an empty lot, mark the family as unplaced so I can edit the lot for free then fill up the lot with Shmapple Fridges and move into a new lot whilst selling the furniture. Easy 1 million 😂😂

I can't remember if it was mentioned but the freelancer job where you can basically be a digital artist pays a lot when you get your painting skill up.

The only problem with painting careers (both digital and regular) is that the time you invest in rabbit holes or clients doesn't make you any more money than making another painting uncommissioned would.

It's not a problem as far as gameplay goes. Careers provide a better roleplay experience. But from a strictly money-making standpoint being a shut-in mass producing art is a more efficient use of time, which is why painting goblins are a thing.
You can also become a scientist and get to the point where you get the cloning machine, that helps a lot
Having babies, selling their free cribs, then putting them up for adoption.

I got surprised by it once too. It came at a good time because I was trying to build a house around them.
Some of these feel cheat-y and not worth it on a gameplay level but I love the autographs one ! It looks like it'd make for a really cool gameplay, you can make it your character's whole story.

Selling strawberries got my family their first million within a month of playing. I let my wife quit her job just to harvest the berries. We profit more off berries alone in a day than both of our incomes combined. Both of us are high earners in our (maxed +3 or better) careers.
