Glad to see you back making crappie videos. My favorite crappie bait is 2.5" Yum beaver tail clone bait. I consider a 3" bait too be a big bait for Crappie and would have never thought about using a 4" bait. You showed the proof is in the pudding.
Hey Rodney how have you been? Yes sir those bigger females will definitely bite a big bait. I clean them all the time with shad that are much bigger than the bait I’m using inside them.
@@ppdrawings I just swim it right over the fish. They will come up and smack it. The main thing is I never let the bait stop. It’s always coming back to the boat if that makes any sense.
@@CATCHAHAWG yeees! I gotcha!! I'm still putting my LS together but I'm definitely going to buy some flukes and try them out on crappie! I know there are some monster crappie out there in this reservoir
@@CATCHAHAWG we've been pretty good buddy just super busy with grandkids and restoring my old Cajun center console and of course work😁 it's a slow process but it will be worth it😁 I'm glad I have a stockpile of fish because this is the longest I've done without fishing😮😮
@@CATCHAHAWG man I sure will bro...My buddy and I pulled out 450 pounds of water logged foam and the stringers are completely rotted. Now just have to find time to prep for the new stringers 🙄

Thank you sir. Looks like there’s still a few big ones left in the lake lol
Glad to see you back crappie fishing & doing crappie videos. I made my Livescope setup in a ammo box from one of your videos!
Thanks John. How’s the livescope setup working out for you?
@@CATCHAHAWG Doing great, but I decided to move my xducer to the TM & like it better.
@@johnbrowder1771 I’m actually putting another transducer on my trolling motor for when I’m by myself or bass fishing.
The east Texas crappie master. Minnows
Hey Jeff thanks for the comment 👍
Very nice crappies what bran flute are you using
Thank you Michael. It’s a zoom fluke. I think I mentioned it was a super fluke but that’s incorrect. It’s just the regular fluke.
@@CATCHAHAWG okay thanks 💯
@@michaelupchurch3769 you’re welcome 👍
Wow!! I never would have thought they would bite a jig that big!!!
I might need to try that!!!
