- IT’S MYGM TIME!!! It’s early access for WWE 2K24 and our first MyGM! Thank you for all the comments left on my previous video with your suggestions for which GM and which Brands to use for my first MyGM mode. ECW and Paul Heyman were easy the choice. So let’s see how ECW does in hopefully a more successful reboot.

It always interests me watching people who play this mode super aggressively because I conversely play it very conservative. If someone gets below 50 stamina I refuse to book them in anything but a normal match. With my play style I’ll usually be in last for the first 20 weeks or so but end up winning the season. Not saying my style or your play style is the “correct” way to play I just like to see how you can play differently but still succeed
This is very well put. I think my problem was not drafting enough wrestlers. and because I'm playing on extreme, I have minimum 8 wrestler to be in matches each week, it's hard giving talent time off. That's the biggest change from last years game, free agency pool was always so big, that if stamina dropped, that's ok because someone was ready to go. This year that's all gone. Good to see someone playing on Extreme. Most of the other GM Mode content I’ve found so far is only on hard and from experience we know that won’t provide a challenge long term.
I might be regretting it now, but I have to say it's a lot of fun. Hard mode was super wasn't really challenging last year. Extreme difficulty this year is definitely a test!

A lot of pressure involved in Extreme mode and you're handling it pretty well! My fav new feature is being able to watch matches from other brands but this entire game blows 2K23 out of the water! Keep rockin' Mac!!
Haha thank you I appreciate that! Ya this game is so good in comparison to last year. All the minor improvements this year were all needed and so good for the mode.
The talent scout thing is intriguing but it would take some time getting used to so one can find what they seek
For me the tough part is that you spend money on scouts, but then the wrestlers disappear the following week if you don't sign them. If another brand signs them, I 100% get it, but if they're still free agents the following week, I feel they should still be there.
Man a still got atleast a day before I can buy the game but the gm is gunna be alot of fun this year
It's so much fun! It's also challenging this year. I feel if it wasn't for power cards, I'd be miles behind haha. Thanks for the comment.

Damian priest and finn balor , johnny gargano and tomasso ciampa , or chad gable and otis to tag team challenge IMPERIUM
Those would've been great signings for sure. This was my first go of things, and I was really worried about the budget.

Buy Damian Priest, Otis, or not Johnny Gargano, buy one or two of those guys for a tag team

You can travel injured people. Computer offered me trades for them.
Really? I guess I haven't actually tried to trade an injured wrestler yet. I thought they were blocked off if they were injured?
Oddly not in this game. Madden and 2k basketball don’t let you trade injured people. In this game, they allow it. The other brand offered me some money too in the trade.
Dude, I think you are doing okay with a new game and the highest diff.
My biggest problem with the lack of women's belts on ECW is it makes it feel to different, like if you win its going to be in the back of your head that you didn't have to focus on both genders, while if you lose you are going to feel like you couldn't have win becuase you don't have woman to focus on.
100% right there were no wcw women's tag titles. With all the banked woman's titles, why can't we just attach one to ecw?
Or better yet, have Paul design the title based on what he would have done eventually.
I understand the accuracy of the time, but this is all fantasy booking anyway.
Just my 2 cents. Sorry to get long-winded. The ECW thing is the one big miss for me, I really was excited to play that brand, but I really like duel gender belts.
That's really well put, and I feel all of that makes sense. Especially the part of the tag team titles. If WCW gets to use the womans tag titles, why doesn't ECW? But we've seen in the past that 2K have patched in titles, so maybe we'll see it again this year?
I feel like this is the one topic I've seen people split the most on.
Yeah, im concerned because they built that pop boost into ecws standard titles to try to balance it, but I hope so.
I get the accuracy argument I really do I would just rather have a level playing field.

The stamina rapidly depletes on extreme mode leading to a select few capable of performing. They need to fix that. I don't mind reduced stamina as long as it's not at it's current extreme
So it's not just me right? Almost any specialty match seems to just completely deplete my wrestler's stamina. I guess that's what I get for choosing extreme difficulty lol
I found the solution. You open Manage Roster, there's a list of perks you have to unlock & you have an option of two for every tier. Stamina & Injury are things you can improve for each superstar so it's not as bad as i thought & I'm enjoying the challenge :) keep us updated with your GM career. I'm enjoying it.
