I am in awe. Just speechless. WOW! This could be a way to tighten up for ribbing on a sweater or gloves. I have always wondered. I knit regularly. When knitting a sweater there are fewer stitches than the main body of the sweater. Thank you

Glad I can help. I also have a video on how to join sides of panels seamlessly (josephine graft method) without bulky seams. This may be useful for knitting sweaters and other panel items.

I know this is an older video but this might be a much better way to make a drop stitch scarf :)

There is an inherent problem with doing it this way. Because you are still using enough yarn for a 48-pin round and only using 32 stitches, it completely changes your final gauge for the tube. It's fine doing it like that if you only are using 32 stitch tubes for your project but if you are using both 32 st tubes and 48 st tubes say for a blanket, the gauge difference would be huge so lining up any colour changes would be almost impossible.

When you skip the pins, the amount of yarn stretching across the skipped pins is less than the yarn that is needed if you were to actually knit those skipped stitches. The gauge should not be that much different.
Colour changes in blankets are usually lined up with flat panels instead of tubes.
Please let me know if you have encountered any problems with a project you have made with this method. It would be
interesting to see if I can offer any suggestions to help resolve it. :)
