Continuity:
This is the final episode that Uncle Ruckus did not make an appearance. He was mentioned, however, on one scene.
Robert is told he hasn't seen a doctor in 57 years, i.e. since 1953.
Cultural references:
After "promising" not to smoke, he returns to Grant's house and is offered a "Skywalker" strain of marijuana. This is an allusion to the latter's voice actor, Mark Hamill.
Robert recounts a story of a man who smoked w**d laced with angel d**t and ended up in a chicken coop, only to be told that he is thinking of the film Friday; voice actor John Witherspoon was in that film.
As of 2023, recreational use of cannabis is legal in the state of Maryland.
Tom refers to Granddad "going Bobby and Whitney," a reference to Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, notorious for their drug abuse.
Riley mentions showing the Fresh Prince kid who the real Karate Kid is, a reference to Jaden Smith(the son of Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith).

Getting naked and high while playing bongos they was imitating Matthew McConaughey , Matthew McConaughey had the police called on him by neighbors because he was playing bongos and when the police got to his house the police saw him getting high Buck naked playing bongos in the middle of his living room
thats funny. and kind of rude that people snitched on him. naked, bongos, weed in his own house is a homeowners' privilege. obviously this is totally my opinion though lol

I was going to suggest that too but they should watch the movie first so they can get familiar with the theme, characters so they’ll know their voice actors in the anime. The MJ and Elvis episodes! 😂😂😂

Funny story, I was hoping to see more white people react to Boondocks a while ago and lo-and-behold, you two pop up in a recommended video a few months after I made that search haha! By that time I'd forgotten i even made the search at all 😅 (I'm black btw and ironically most of the reaction channels I've seen happen to be white lol!)

I just don’t know how you guys missed this… and how detached you guys are from black culture….. in this day and age
So, I'm 41, stay at home Dad with our 2 sons and because of that, the past 8 or so years has been nothing but work work work and no time for friends outside of said work.
Best believe though, that when I did work, all my closest homies were black and we created some of the greatest memories over our lives/careers with that particular company & for a decade!
We're all "grown up now" and have our own families to look after and whatnot, but we still keep in touch and they know about this channel. Life is better with friends, so the more the merrier 😁

Season 4 is trash, that's when it got boring because the show was too controversial and the original creator got fired. So the talent behind the Boondocks could not be creative anymore. Don't watch it.
