I am confident that it gets close to that, although I have not actually timed it out. I am always surprised how long it lasts and I feel like I rarely need to recharge it (unless on a longer backpacking trip).
I will have to say, I have grown more irritated with the blue indicator lights. I just don't think they thought that through. The lights are too bright for comfort, and covering it with a piece of tape like I have done requires constantly removing the tape to check battering life. I still love the light overall, but that is definitely a negative.
Great review man, thanks! I wonder what the lifespan of the battery is and whether it can be changed (instead of having to buy a new lamp) once the battery performance decreases?
I thought the same with these little battery indicator lights, what i did with my two differents 500R was: - The first one of them i just took a red permanent pen and carefully painted over these dots, now the lights are kinda purple and way, but way darkers. Like this you could keep away that residual glue tape, especially if you hike in warm places. - The second one i just wore it ''upside down'', leaving these lights beaming towards above. Hope it helps for the next time, and thanks for this video 🙌🐺
Hello! Thanks for the review. I'm very curious if the flashlight will really shine for 7 hours in maximum mode as described?

In a bivouac 19 hours in medium mode is perfect, i used petzl but now it s low quality, black diamonds never disappoint...🎉
Dude the little blue indicator light pierces my retinas I will be using the tape for sure.

That's a good question. I'm not sure. Reply back if you end up finding an answer to that!
Did they fix the stupid clamp? The plastic pivot piece breaks very easily where the headlamp attaches and swivels to the headband.
I haven't had any problems with it up to this point.
Great review thank you for quality content
Thanks for watching!

Great idea about the marker.
For guys using it in a more tactical environment that requires light discipline, that max brightness tap is a deal killer 🙁
I can see your point. I wish they would have made it a button instead of a tap.
Nobody uses a headlamp in a tactical situation.
Put a sticker on it. It won’t switch on
Uhh.. a "tactical" situation? What?
