Love this track. Sounds like it'd be great for a movie montage. "My wares are guaranteed to bring down a charging heathen savage, sir, or your money back." -American Gun Salesman retainer
Agree with you mate, he is the best music composer that make the game much more fun to enjoy like Rome 1 music I play with mod in Rome 2, Rome 2 music is bad
This is my favorite battle ost in the whole game. Takes me back to holding a castle with nothing but garrison infantry and spear levy against the waves of Shogitai.
This once played when I ordered my Sabre Cavalry into a fort to attack, for some reason they "Charged up onto the ramparts of the gatehouse!" It was amazing. Truly epic track.
@@DoctorDeath147 Necroing as hell, but if memory serves "banzai" itself is simply an equivalent of "hurrah" in usage, with literal meaning being "ten thousand years"... Tennoheika Banzai, "ten thousand years to the emperor", would be an imperial salutation/battlecry. "Banzai" by itself wouldn't necessarily be. And certainly in a fictionalized variant of the Boshin War as seen in FotS the shogunate equivalent could very much exist...

@@bowmen08 Yeah It falls under context. In some time period saying banzai would be like "hurrah" while in other time it would be recognized by anyone as reffering to "ten thousand years to the emperor" but shorter.
" UNCLE SAMURAI WANTS YOU... to join the Imperial Army."
*I FEAR YOUR GENERAL IS IN MORTAL PERIL, SIR!*
Good news sir, their general is deeeaaad
WHAT A SHAMEFUL DISPLAY

+Robert French No one would be able to take the money back from that American as they are already dead by the hands of the heathen savage.
+William Goo your comment deserves a praise of the the daimyo!!
More likely a Colt or Winchester salesman.
Let Them Taste Our Steel!!!!!
"Uncle Samurai" I see what you did there!
Got to be one of my favorite parts of this song
Jeff van Dyck has always made great music for the TW games. A shame he wasn't composing for Rome II or Attila.
+The Dark Weapon More of a high pitched drone

@legoman7041 friendly fire is a small price to pay for salvation
Running down a routing army with your Armstrong guns blazing always felt better with this song playing
Truly the Duke of Death of its game.

This plays when my aizu samurai tear line infantry apart. For the Shogun!
Banzai charging levi inf. while they were reloading With the shinzengumi police force was something else
I want YOU
To play Shogun 2
I like how 0:55 sounds like a train.
You have triumphed over the enemy
This is my favorite of the new music!
Favorite TOTALY
when clint eastwood took the katana
200 rounds of pure Americanism and freedom
The anthem when the HMS Warrior sinks the whole enemy navy.
GRAB YOUR SWORDS!!! FOR THE SHOGUN!!! BANZAIIIII!!!!
Banzai is an imperial salutation :)
Banzai is only used by those loyal to the Emperor.

It feels like an older wiser person is watching over me.
*in thick stereotypical american accent* “Sir, you have killed their general!”
My uncle samurai
Was this added to battles for the sengoku period clans? I feel like I’ve heard this outside of FotS
Oh... it took time to get the pun
When you call in the offshore battery.
1.23 is the best moment 😎
Epic *_*
Some parts of the song sound American, around 0:44. Maybe that's it? :/
