Music is the one thing that is universal that everyone can understand and appreciate . It brings people together that normally wouldnt each other the time of day. It can express the atmosphere of a scene (in a play or movie) or in a room( in real life) it can also be a source of inspiration , upliftment, joy. I know for sure that it brings me serenity And peace during the bad days.

I agree with rie20100! It's so wonderful to see someone take the time and show interest in the piano skills of the younger generation. 😇 Wish I would have had someone way back when to keep me motivated and continue when I took lessons. Dr. K. Do you know the young pianist Cole Lam? I also watch his train station videos. Today he had a camera on top pf the piano and we were able to watch a 360 degree virtual reality video of him playing Bohemian Rhapsody. All that I had to do as I watched was move the cursor on my computer screen was up, down, left, right, so on to see everything that was going on around him as he played.
Dr. K, looking at your videos it really makes me sad...... that I wasn't able to learn how to play the piano like you do. I'm sure you started to play as a young kid and you are so talented. I can watch your videos over and over again. It really makes me happy to see that you take the time to teach young musicians and built their confidence. I'm 66 years old, so a little bit too late to learn to play like you do. But in my dreams everything is possible.......
The only thing I ever learned to play was the radio, well I did play hooky a few times. I always enjoy watching your interaction with young and old no matter how good their talent may be.
