Halsey and BTS are best buddies ever since their collab. BTS even gifted her a customised glittery mic of her own, like the ones they use for their performances.

When they performed this at the BBMA's they made a behind the scenes video of the entire experience. I highly recommend watching it. I don't know how to provide links ( I'm a 66 year old Army who is VERY limited on the workings of a computer, so if someone can provide that for me, I'd appreciate it). They have a video with english subs. I've been an Army since 2015 (with Dope), and cannot be more proud of their success. They deserve the world and beyond.

I've met so many people through BTS like on weverse if someone is having a bad day army will flood comments of love and support. All of us are basically strangers but at the same time we give each other so much love it's wild. Everyday I wake up to this fandom and I'm so amazed that there is such a loving community. If it weren't for army I wouldn't have faith in humanity, and I probably wouldn't be here today. Everyday I'm grateful and proud to be ARMY
BTS and Halsey worked together for a long time before filming this MV because she had to learn the dance moves. While they were practicing the guys treated her like a sister and teased her a lot, especially J-Hope. When they finally went back to Korea she tweeted how sad she was and how much she already missed her friends. She even flew to Paris for a surprise performance of BWL while they were on tour in 2019. They also performed together for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball that year.

This was the first song by BTS I heard before I became Army. It was summer time and it was playing on the radio. I don’t listen to the radio anymore, the only music that’s in my car now is BTS and occasionally BigBang.

Every time I watched the mv I always thought "there something so familiar about some of the scenes". Well I recently watch the behind the scenes (Shooting Sketch) for this. Ok, That's why. Some scenes of this mv are from the movie "Singing in the Rain". They're in front of a movie theater, the sofa (Good Morning), when they're around the lamp post (Gene Kelly dancing in the rain). And RM, my bias, looking stunning in that white suit, is recreating "Broadway Melody". I didn't think it was possible, but I think it made me love this mv even more. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I’ve been a fan of Halsey for a while and when I found out she was releasing a song with the guys, I nearly died, I was so excited. Then I found out she flew out to S. Korea to be a part of the MV and learn the choreo my respect level for her raised even more. Her and the guys got along so well (there’s a bangtan bomb of them working together) you could see there was great chemistry. She eventually gifted them each with bracelets. She is such a sweetie and now a good friend of theirs. Also, check out Sugas Interlude. It’s a song she released with Suga right before Shadow was released. As always, Thank you foe the good vibez!

The "language barrier" is such an american thing... I grew up in Brazil, and I and the whole country listened to american music and loved it, without ever knowing what was being said. We learned how to appreciate music by the way it makes us feel. Matter of fact, all of the non English speaking countries in the world do the same thing. Now, America is just starting to do it, and BTS is the prime example of how music just speaks to you in a way that your whole body and soul can feel it. They deserve all the success they're getting and more!

The interesting thing about BTS is that language barrier is non-existent but then when you look up the lyric meanings for songs like Life goes on it’s so relatable and your experience only gets better.
Coming from a non-english speaking country (only 5,6 million people) we're so used to watching things in a different language. I've always watched movies with subtitles - even in my native language. I guess it's all about habits. BTS is a big part of the change happening around the world.

Idk why here in the music video, it’s not that shown. But from what i hear is that the purpose is so that they could perform this at korean music shows and Korean award shows without having to fly Halsey in every time. (This is what i heard???)
