- DIODES
Are the component that allows current flow in one direction and blocks current in opposed direction.
WHAT YOU NEED TO CARRY OUT THE TESTING
(1) 9V battery
(2) multimeter
A good diode will test as follows
Forward biased 9Volts shortcircuit
Forward biased 0Volts open-circuit
forward biased 9Volts - diode voltage good
Reverse biased 0Volts good

This is the precise video about high diod.
From South Africa this is the best video lve watch lot of videos they don't make sense 💙💙💙💙💙👍🏾plz make more videos
Thanks.
Very educative God bless you, please show us how to check a faulty high voltage microwave transformer. 😅
Excellent, Thank you.👌👍
good video...please talk about rectifying diode.....
how to rectify ac
Very clear instruction, thank you.
You are welcome!
I have some issue with h.v. capacitor. I test it . It is not shorted. But I get only 1.238 megaohms of 10 megaohms (capacitor) My fuse (between h.v. transformer and capacitor) is blown. Could I only replace fuse ou fuse and capacitor ?
That's a very small value for Capacitor of 10m ohm. Short it before you test,
If your sure that the meter is giving you correct reading.... Then change the capacitor together with the fuse.
@@electreca1 Microwave oven turns on but no heat. I test magnetron, HV transformer, hv diode they are not shorted. The hv transformer show good values.
@Lucas I assume you changed the HV capacitor, and the HV transformer shows good value. But there is no heat still.......consider changing Magnetron and HV diode.....because those 4 components are most source of microwave problems.
And also make sure there is no lose connection in all connection points...
Op that helps.
I have aquetion, before the fuse blew did you notic microwaves leaking inside cubin?
@@electreca1 I purchased a new capacitor and it shows me 9,5 megaohms. I replaced capacitor and diode and it works like a charm.
