    Hi Nickolas, this is matsanga from that place of kamaleya and Makila, that's smashed beans. What you call black salt is sodium bicarbonate, I like your videos, I always eat that Makila in white restaurants here in Texas.

    Next holiday I'm definitely visiting my mother's home. Mbale. I would love to eat this again. I last ate it in 1993 when I was still a little girl running around naked. I'm going to Uganda over Easter just to eat Malewa and magira.

    Nico, as usual you had to set aside some extra space in the stomach to eat from the two sources of food, ensuring you didn't miss out on anything. The food was so good it looked like you were about to bite off your own finger LOL. Another good food video to watch.

      Those are smoked banana peelings

    • @mamajz
      @mamajz ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You smoke dried banana peelings to get the powder
      Pour the water in the powder and filter
      The filtrate you get is what they normally use

    It is called rock salt

    • @millyuganda05
      @millyuganda05 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @The Whole World Is Insane it can't be sea salt because Uganda is a land locked county, not by the sea... that's rock salt, and there is a distinct difference. I believe it comes from a specific lake in Uganda not the sea

    • @nabazziwajalia9511
      @nabazziwajalia9511 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@millyuganda05 yes. Uganda has rock salt mined from Lake Katwe
