After 2 weeks owning a 2024 Rub and always forgetting to turn that damn S/S button off I came across this...THANK YOU!! Installed in about 10 minutes and works as advertised and maybe now that aux battery will last longer too. Thanks again!
Great video. The only one that showed the process of finding the location of the specific module. Others started with the camera on the module which made it hard to find under the dash. It’s a little trickier to find when working around clutch pedal with a manual version of the 24 JL.
You're 100 percent correct, the cold starts are the roughest on the engine pieces. You should get a tazer, it does hold and supresses the last button memory, but it gives you a while lot more options too. You don't even have to configure all of them, just say 'i want auto start stop disabled by default'. Install for the tazer is basically the same thing you showed but it plugs into both of those plugs from the gateway box, but it's about the size of 3 checkers stacked up so there's not s whole lot of trying to secure it
I also have a 22 extreme and have done a lot of same mods. One question do you have a rake with bumper and winch? It seems mine is about 1.5in lower in front.
I'm sorry but my 2024 Rubicon 3.6 has no module in view as per you TH-cam. Ive looke in there several time trying to see if i missed something. Your Video is great my Jeep say's they caught on or changed something
If you’re a Jeep technician then why does my 2020 Rubicon continue showing Start/stop unavailable service start/stop system AFTER I changed the auxiliary battery? The dealership told me to drive it about 20 or so miles and it would reset itself, didn’t happen, removed and separated all grounds for about an hour to try and reset it and again the same problem. The system is charging correctly and I’m stumped, auxiliary battery shows 12.71 amps and main battery shows 12.72/73 amps. Any suggestions?
If it were in my bay at the shop I would be testing both batteries separately with our large charger/tester. Normally one or both batteries will fail and need to be replaced. But if both batteries test good then I would recommend replacement of the battery sensor that lives on the neg battery post on the main battery and clearing the codes in the pcm and then it should be a working system.
The auxiliary battery doesn’t last long. I replaced mine a year and a half ago and it’s dying too. The start stop is now draining the main battery again. What idiot decided to incorporate this feature into the jeep!
I also have a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon. But I'm having the most difficult time getting my fingers in there to access the module as there's barely any room and my hands are only average size. Any tips? It's a 2 minute job that I'm now stuck. Thanks. UPDATE: I contacted their customer service and they were no help. There is something directly behind the wiring harness, something else above and in front. I’m only able to barely get one finger on it from below which isn’t enough to undo the clip and remove it. Given their return policy, it doesn't make sense to even try to return it. So I just spent $100 on something impossible to use. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AUTOSTOPELIMINATOR or do so at your own risk.

I was waiting for you to work on this “ issue” .. I didn’t think it was that simple to install it.. Thank you

Easy Install. Looks like a great option. Well done video.
FIRST PRODUCT I PURCHASED FOR BOTH MY JLS. A MUST HAVE.
Thanks for the video. Question, other than cost, why would you use this vs the Taser. Thank you
Good question. You wouldn’t unless you’re dumb or poor. Tazer does so much more.
I'll be doing this shortly... then removing the aux battery entirely so it doesn't drain the main battery
Have you looked into the Baxter Performance Spin on Filter Adapter to also prevent dry starts?
I wonder if they make them for other cars! I need one for my infinity qx60. It’s so annoying.
Lots of echo there. Are you going to put some sound( deading )? In the garage?

It is a real bear to get a good look at it, but it should be there as that module is the security gateway module for the Jeep

@@TylerPotter Now that’s the best advice I’ve gotten from anyone, thanks for the response to my issue and I’ll definitely give this a try!! 👍😁

We’re can I buy this. Why America makes jeep and we in Australia want to buy parts America doesn’t ship to Australia! It’s sucks!

You could try getting a small flat screwdriver up there to try and unplug the connectors.
Talks to much
