Honestly I loved them I agree they felt like they weren't forced in at all and gave a bit more of the feels to help you digest the story since it's a dark and sad one. For the melee only one thing to keep in mind is that you can shoot, you just can't have it be the final blow. As long as you finish the enemy with melee you are fine

It’s so wild that it was so hard for you to get the Maria ending. @TheGreyScott did a blind playthrough as well for his 1st one and was going for In Water, and even though he BARELY dealt with Maria at all, that’s the ending he got. He would leave her behind, run away and not unlock doors for her so she had to jump over shit. The only things he did were kill an enemy attacking her and visited her once in the hospital. We’re still scratching our heads on how it happened lmaoooo. We were all absolutely flabbergasted when it happened.

Another Great Vid, ngl I find it funny how hard PPL strugled getting the Maria Ending I managed to get it first try on Standard ah the Joys of playing the game after release instead of early acess, also noticed you included the chat its weird seeing my own comments on a Video dam, keep up the good work The Goodest Boy!
On my second run I managed to set it up to where I could get leave, in water, or maria at the end with my save before the pyramid heads, just by changing which door I went through and whether or not I listened to the full hallway convo. Managed to keep it 100% neutral between the three endings all the way up to the final save point Edit- as well as all the other endings in the same save, since I picked up every special item and kept a save point right before opening room 312

I selected the “snake” coin in the first puzzle, played through the town as if I was going for Maria but ignoring some things like how you’re supposed to strictly keep to the route, and checked on her once in the hospital to trigger the cutscene after collecting a bracelet. Also used the ripe apple in the hotel and healed every time my damage fell below green, all of this somehow set me up to get either Leave or Maria in the end. I don’t know how I was able to get In Water in the same run besides reading the hospital rooftop diary and going through the rust egg door at the end, but those were enough apparently.
I feel mine was glitched because I got the Maria and then first manipulated it to get the leave ending and it gave me the in the water ending and I did none of the requirements for that ending. I never inspected Angela’s knife, and I didn’t put the rotten apple in front of the mirror.
i love the game so far i do it at a slow pace to enjoy every bit of it that's why i'm only at the begining finding the three pieces as i only did one live on my channel but i pre ordered and i didn't understood why they said release on october seven but it was released on the 8 like on the 7 at midnight, usually it would have been the 6 at midnight like it was literally the 8 since it was midnight lol, but i love it, can't wait for bo6 in the next days for the campaign, but the one i pre ordered like months ago is assassin creed who get out in a month ^^ it's gonna be so cool

I think there are a few items / instances that make a dramatic impact tbh and that's one for sure I didn't do that and managed it with some manipulation but ya was a fun time
It's funny because the first ending i got was in fact Maria's one 😂 Just because i forgot how to get it on the original, and i wanted to check the interactions with her. So from time to time, at the hospital or the prison, i went to check on her. I guess that made it happen.

I feel mine was glitched because I got the Maria and then first manipulated it to get the leave ending and it gave me the in the water ending and I did none of the requirements for that ending. I never inspected Angela’s knife, and I didn’t put the rotten apple in front of the mirror.

i love the game so far i do it at a slow pace to enjoy every bit of it that's why i'm only at the begining finding the three pieces as i only did one live on my channel but i pre ordered and i didn't understood why they said release on october seven but it was released on the 8 like on the 7 at midnight, usually it would have been the 6 at midnight like it was literally the 8 since it was midnight lol, but i love it, can't wait for bo6 in the next days for the campaign, but the one i pre ordered like months ago is assassin creed who get out in a month ^^ it's gonna be so cool

so unlike the original, the ripe apple in 202 and the scarlet egg u use after pee head fight really make the maria ending function, i ended up saving before room 202 puzzle for a save i have where u can get all 8 endings from one save, the ripe apple makes a big difference, and without it maria ending wouldnt work for me
I think there are a few items / instances that make a dramatic impact tbh and that's one for sure
I didn't do that and managed it with some manipulation but ya was a fun time
It's funny because the first ending i got was in fact Maria's one 😂 Just because i forgot how to get it on the original, and i wanted to check the interactions with her. So from time to time, at the hospital or the prison, i went to check on her. I guess that made it happen.
