Gwen Cleveland works for a straight mom who had a sperm donor who wasn't a heterosexual cis male too and cases of using a surrogate opens up lots of options. So many options I don't feel like listing them all. Odds are at least a few straight couples have a member of the lgbtq+ community to thank for their kid. And that isn't even considering healthcare workers and so much more. This argument is just so stupid it couldn't hold marbles let alone water.

Neither can infertile woman or woman with other health conditions for example my sister has rh negative blood it runs in our family and skips every other generation so my grandma on my moms side had it my sister has it I might have it but we don't know if you don't know what rh- is basically a blood type where your well rh- (Its hard to explain) but basically if your rh- and your baby is rh positive basically a bunch of stuff can happen and the baby can die before it is born it doesn't always happen but it can so for that reason it would be harder for her to have a child. And that's just a mild example some women are completely infertile

I remember seeing a post on something, somewhere, that was like-
“I want a gay best friend.
And by that, I mean I want to befriend the girl who came out as lesbian earlier this year and is no longer invited to many events like slumber parties because people are afraid that she’s going to prey on them.”
And tbh it kinda helped restore some of my faith in humanity

In highschool, I came out to one of my best friends and she started acting really weird about it and saying really mean things. Through all this though, she thought it would be cool to have a male gay best friend. Little did she know that our guy friend was gay but had seen how she treated me and so was too afraid to tell her. When he eventually publicly came out on social media years later, she was so surprised.

I know this girl who is an old friend of mine... I was texting with her and she was complaining about her ex (like always) but then she was like: "I don't need a relationship... I just need a gay best friend who I can cuddle with all the time while watching movies. I just need someone to hug and cuddle with."
And I'm like: "You literally got a bunch of cis girl friends to do that with"
Her: "Yeah but it has to be a guy. And because I don't want a relationship and don't want to lead them on, he needs to be gay. And we can do make-up and stuff like that together."
Me: .... That's not how it works.
As a bisexual cis girl I felt very weird reading this. I mean, sure, there are gay guys who enjoy doing make-up and stuff and also those who would snuggle with their best friend... but the majority would just like to cuddle up next to a guy, just like she wants to. Plus, in her case they would probably feel weird and used, so I don't think anyone would be up for that...

Funny enough, I saw a guy today wearing a shirt that said "Stop heterophobia"
I asked about it and he legitimately believed that in today's society "men are forced to be feminine in order to be accepted and find a job." Then went on a rant about how men need to stop being afraid of being masculine, women need to go back to being feminine, and things need to go back to how they were when he was younger...etc. the whole time I'm wondering, what do masculine men and feminine women have to do with straight people? Who is running around screaming in fear because a straight person is around? Where and when are straight people persecuted or hated for being straight? Who is going around commiting hate crimes against straight people?

Hi there. I'm gay and trans but this video really helped to open my eyes. I had never heard of the term "straight" until my son came out as cishet to me in autumn 2017. I really appreciate that there are people like you who are informing others on the hetero lifestyle. Do you think he would like if I bought him a straight pride flag? I don't want him to feel different from my bisexual husband and I. Thank you. This has been a journey for us all,

    Here’s a few good ones:
-Straight people wanting a straight pride month is like white people wanting a white history month.
-Straight pride awareness is like pouring a cup of water on yourself to cool down when you’re in a pool.
-Really straight people want to experience all the fun stuff about being LGBTQIA+ but not the bad stuff (edit: like family members disowning you, having the risk of someone murdering you and them not even going to prison because they can call it self defense, random people just being homophobic, etc.)

Imagine thinking people who struggle shouldn't be allowed to talk about those struggles simply because -you- don't face them..
Like imagine thinking someone talking about pain they and others have felt is just 'victim mentality' just because you're privileged enough to not have to face it.
