    Here's the £5.00 donation I promised pal. I'm looking forward to getting the board management and the 1-3 months training sheets in the post, thanks again for doing that for me DD. And I'll keep a look out for me of your great videos. Take care

      Just remember get the grouping first then start to move the throw around the board. Moving your body position so you are looking at ever target exactly the same.

    Ive changed the way i throw after watching your videos. I didnt play for a long time after having shoulder surgery and im getting back into it now. You have helped me alot and im hitting my doubles and high scores very regularly again. I just hope my shoulder doesnt play up again. So far so good. Thanks alot for all you do.

    I have got back to darts now since October. After 16 years of not playing. I have now in the last 3 weeks palyed in the DD way fully after a while of adding your way bot by bit. I have amazing day and bad days. But over time my play is getting better. I add your style of throwing over time and I am getting better. Most important I am enjoying learning. I can't play as often as I want with work atm but for me it's all about progressing and enjoyment.

    I’ve really enjoyed these videos Dave. I have been trying your way in practice for a week now and I am just starting to feel comfortable with the stance etc. I am following the practice sheets and I am just starting to familiarise myself with the board management sheets. I really want to do better, and I will do better, and I understand it will take time.

      Hi Buddy hope your well your reaction is thankfully one i hear often and the reason for that is simple its all true. I spent over two and a half years developing the DD way i thought very very deeply about how darts should be thrown. If you think about it "if there is a right way to do anything as night follows day there must be a right way to throw darts" seems like common sense to me and it is. My throw works for every body shape age or gender i have kids of 10 right through to 70+ year old ladies because its simple body mechanics the less you have to do the easier it is to be accurate/ consistent and to fix if it goes wrong. Stick with me buddy you wont go wrong and yes i do personal coaching just drop me an email to dj.llewellyn123@outlook.com and i will give you all the info.

      I have found a vast majority of the players i coach that report they fall to bits when a game starts is when they play a Stranger or out in public. This is usually because of performance anxiety due to the fear of looking bad Infront of your peers. There is only one way to overcome this and its a change in attitude this will help you to gain confidence this is achieved by getting out and looking a twot and learning how to deal with it, its tough at first but you get over it quickly and within 5 or 6 low level tournaments going out in round 1 or 2 you will have overcome it and start to become much more successful. Cheers D Dave...

    New to the channel. At 8:42 you have an inconsistent throwing action. Your first dart is the standard wrist forward and index finger pointed down but then throws 2 and 3 have a wild ass index finger yeet outwards. This is a coaching promo? 🤩

    • @DynamiteDaveLlewellyn
      @DynamiteDaveLlewellyn  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you observe properly you will see darts two and three a use the follow-through to lift the point slightly by releasing over my palm to place them on top of dart one. Its part of the DD advanced techniques but if you want to learn that from me i only offer this as part of a paid coaching session just like stacking on and how to curled round a blocker.
      Hope this helps D Dave...

      O god yeh its one of the biggest blocks to progressing is peoples fee fees thankfully i don't get many people like that probably because i wouldn't tolerate it i had a clown here once a few years back turned up got his dart out told me how much money he had waisted paying the old pros hundreds and hundreds of pounds a time to teach him. I tried to set him up his throw was pretty poor TBH. He then proceeded to tell me i was wrong my way wouldn't work and he managed about 5 mins of telling me how to coach before my wick had burned down to its limit and his ass was being encouraged out of the front door. He still goes on social media and cries about me to this day but i see he is still pants at darts lol...

    Hi Dave,good video mate,I'm trying to learn all I can,I've had problems with anxiety and depression since last October,I hardly go out anymore so I got myself a dartboard 2 months ago,I'm not working at the moment so I've been practicing for 5 to 6 hours a day,after about a month I joined an online dart league,I lost my first game 6 - 1,I've now won 3 list 3 and drawn 1,I've hit a 154 checkout a 128 checkout and a 118 checkout,I've not hit a 180 in a proper game yet but hit about 10 playing on my own,when I start work again I will give you a call I need help with my throw and how to control my nerves when I'm playing a match online ..I really want to join a pub team not just for the darts,would be nice to have a laugh with the lads again.hopefully soon ill get my confidence back,I have entered the competition at the queen's in Hyde at the end of the month.but I know nearer the time I'll start worrying about going there on my own.which is really doing my head in,I've always been an out going person,

    Hi Dave, I've been back into darts for about 4 months now after a 30 year break and and getting some half decent averages in my practice games. High 70s - mid 80s best is 93.9 over 5 legs. So far all my darts has been at home in the garage. I live in the western suburbs of Melbourne Australia and just popping down the pub for a friendly game is just not a thing here. Seems the only way to get a game is to go straight into competition or league darts. Would prefer to start with friendly games but looks like I'll just have to go straight into competitive darts from the outset. What are your thoughts on this?
