i placed my order for my 24 inch 80 pound lift rs. cant wait to get it. with how crappy mathews strings are this might be a day one install if my shop can get them.
I get 277 out of my pse 70 pound bow shooting 548 grain arrow at 31.5 inch draw on the ghost xv bowstring. If it is a huge improvement I would consider these strings
It will depend on your particular bow. We’ve seen a range of 3-7 fps across all the different bows we’ve tested. It averages out to 5 fps, but some models is less and others might see slightly more.
Could easily show a video of two identical bows, one with factory strings ones with these, to show the speed difference. But we haven't seen that. So this is really nice snake oil for now.
That video will be coming in the next couple days. 👍🏼 If you watch this one closely, you’ll see we took a PSE Mach 34 and set everything up identically and gained 5 fps. 276 fps to 281 fps, switching from factory strings to the SystmX.
@@GASBowstrings To finish that experiment you’d need to swap the strings on both bows and shoot again…to account for differences in each unique bow. I’m a GAS customer and will be again
Doing this with 2 bows will prove nothing. There is no such thing as identical bows. Use one bow and shoot both strings on it. I'm also positive this is not snake oil. A company does not come out with these claims if they want to keep their reputation unless they are accurate. I make my own strings, and I can tell you that string material and knock location can make a huge difference in speed, shock, noise, and limb life/cam life. There are some ff materials that increase speed, but are so unforgiving that they end up being hard on limbs and cams.
@@chadhouser973it appears that is what @GASBowstrings is saying in their response. That they took 1 PSE Mach 34 and set it up identically with each string and got the difference. I am not part of PSE or Gas but thought it might help you or others in their consideration. I am thinking of changing my strings. I just put on a new set, not of Gas, but ever since I did I cannot get it to tune properly and keeps getting out of time.
275-281 with just a string change is pretty impressive. I’d like to see some tests for sure
This is going to be huge for us shot draw length shooters especially me at 23.5 inches. Can't wait to put this on my left rs

"speed is everything in archery" absolutely true.

This is just another reason why I only run Gas strings on my Bow !

I’m in need of new string- how much are they?
$200 its on their website as of now.
Yeahhhhhh idk. Gonna test that.
💪
Well how much extra speed is one to expect from your new stringa

I can’t imagine this being that much of an improvement in speed for the extra cost
if you need new strings though anyway??

@@GASBowstrings Thats awesome! Looking forward to checking it out. Might give these strings a shot for next season!
