    I did it!
I am 18 years old, and I never rode a bike. It was kind of a bad childhood. Two weeks ago, I saw one of my friends in college riding one, and it looked very fun. I was thinking that I don't want to die without giving it a try.
So I talked to him and said that I never rode one. He started laughing and thought I was joking. He was in shock when he realized that I wasn't joking. After that, he and some other friends encouraged me to buy one, so I did.
The first day of learning how to ride didn't go smoothly. It hurt to sit on the bike, and I couldn't move it. My friends started teaching me for about three hours, and then I started going in a straight line with the bike. It was a huge process for me, and after that, I fell and hurt my hand. It was very painful, and I could barely sleep that night.
For a few days, I couldn't ride it because of my hand. Then I kept training with my friends, and I fell and hurt myself many times. It really wasn't easy.
Today at 12 am, when I was about to sleep, I looked at the sky from my window, and I felt a weird positive energy. I took my bike and rode it. I was scared, but I did it anyway. I was heading to the beach near my home, and I was riding it well somehow, although I was very scared. After some time, I stopped and called my friends. I told them that I was going to the beach by bike. They thought I was joking since it was the middle of the night. I sent them a picture, and they were in shock. It was hilarious.
Then they woke up, took their bikes, and followed me. We rode together, and it was like a dream for me two weeks ago. It was unforgettable memories. I am glad that I didn't give up learning and trying.
It was completely worth it! :)

With support and encouragment we can do almost anything. Wanting to learn is the first step. No matter anyone's age they should always be challenging themselves to learn something new. That is a huge and meaningful part of life.

Remove the pedals. (Obs at one side the threads are links) Set the sadle low. Find a slight slope an off you go. Controlling the sideways lean with your feet, and the speed with the handbrake. Gradually try to balance the bike not using yor feet.

This works like a pro! I literally had my son walking and coasting to get a feel for balancing and gaining confidence for about 30 minutes for 1 day. The next day, I had him do the same, and before we left, I asked if he felt confident enough to give riding his brother's bike a try, and he said , "Yes." I gave him a little push for momentum, and he was gone with the wind. It was so easy that when I'd let him know that he was doing it all by himself he began smiling from ear to ear saying, "I don't know how I'm doing it, I don't know how I'm doing it," all while in awe and surprised himself that it was that easy.

Please, no training wheels! With trainings wheels they learn to steer a car, not a two wheeled vehicle. Remove the taining wheels and the todler has to relearn how to control the vehicle, now a bike, no longer a «car».
My grandson had a balance bike at 2 yrs age. 4 months later he «graduated» to a pedal bike. Now at 4 he is mountainbiking.

lucky kid, the bike I have is not as safe as that one, the pedals can cut you if you ride and go to stop sadly

Hey man, if you want to reach out to different languages to help other people that are struggling to understand these types of things such as riding bikes then just reply to this and I can get you set up with me and I can translate your videos into different languages. This would allow you to have different channels using multiple languages to maximize your income.

A balance bike, low seat, no pedals is a good start. If you also find a slight slope and can handle the speed either with your feet or handbrake, then you are ready to start!
