I appreciate that it seems like this video is going to be about the PK, but quickly turns into a nature documentary about wraiths.

To be fair, PK is the shotgun that needs it the least, since you're still playing around peeking in and out of cover.

At least for console players, i feel like people land in fragments expecting gameplay like this, only to get downed immediately and DC.

Not just console. Even the best just get dunked on and it takes quite a few games to get a good start (which is why it's so stupid). Plus, so many people think they're good enough to stand a chance but they really aren't. They don't even land at an uncontested box or building so they can get loot. Just land on streamer building and hope for the best. I'm all for wanting to get some action, but with people now having armour you can't viably melee people if you don't get loot.
It finally feels like the PK is nicely balanced again after adding in the Mastiff to general rotation threw the whole shotguns meta off balance. The PK is the viable big single hit weapon again without being OP, the eva gives you that fast fire rate while the Mastiff is a reasonable middle ground that's nicely helped by the double reload hopup.
That octane that left didn't pass the vibe check it's better that he left

I remember S2-S3 where the peacekeeper was just constantly getting reworked because it was too powerful. Its seems like it's in a decent place right now.

Wow almost as if they need to buff more weapons and abilities so everything is properly challengable instead of nerfing everything whenever streamers complain
i wish they had balls to do that but they won't.. remember how long (or rather how short) time the armor nerf lasted? (all armors had 25hp less meaning TTK was much faster... people want their safety gear instead of having to think about their positioning or avoiding making mistakes... they don't want tactical thinking added to the game.. just move and shoot - no flanking, no cover usage, abilities being near meaningless... they just wanna keep the status quo and don't like when things are changed.... the community is in a bad spot imo

@@samamies88 I might be one of the few who actually like the armor change, it also fits the progression of evo armor (old) more. They complained APEX TTK is too long but when the change to armor happened they complained it's too fast? Yeah, I will never get those people man.

I think that in general, low fire rate high damage guns are hard to balance, like this, the sentinel, and the long bow.
I feel like almost every full Auto weapon they released was good on release. But the slower the gun is. The worse they balance. Car, volt, r-99, R-301,Flatline,L-star (amazing), Rampage, G7(on floor) (meh) and 3030, Longbow, Bow (now) (awful)
@@hot_usecondchannelxd2274 the g7 has a decent fire rate and i wouldnt say the 3030 is that bad. They re marksman weapons so they re supposed to be longer range weapons. You could still buff them like increase the charged time from the 3030 when you leave ads mode, let u use both hop ups on the 3030 or buff g7 hipfire
Alright let's list new weapons and see how it did on release:
L-Star = garbage tier care package weapon
Charge Rifle: BZZZZT PEW BZZZZT PEW BZZZZT PEW and someone from other side of the map downed. So fucking broken that it took multiple nerfs to bring it down to other long range weapons, ultimately sealed when Sniper type weapon introduced and even then still have niche uses all the way until today.
Sentinel = scuffed kraber, bolt action nature made it as long range support instead of usual long range killer, has audacity to ask for battery for mediocre effect of breaking shield upon impact
Volt: Perfectly balanced upon release and became one of the meta weapon.
3030 repeater: what is this garbage lol, charge based long range weapon that do slightly more dmg when fully charged but charge takes too long you often shot it uncharged. When scout was available this will not gonna be touched.
Bocek Bow: Remember how Hanzo from overwatch has suspiciously generous headshot hitbox on his bow? This is APEX version of it, even have high base dmg and very ammo efficient. Nerfed twice and it became what it is now, probably overnerfed.
Rampage: Thought as OP but it's actually balanced, secretly Fuse buff.
CAR: Well balanced, might be overtuned because it is objectively better than r99 and Volt.
Yeah, all low fire rate weapons aside from L-star has problematic balancing, it's either too good or too bad. L star case is just weird but at least it's on the good spot now.

Players like Seeyeah are become more common it feels like :/ They try and fuck over the rest of the team somehow then act shocked or pissed when the team doesnt go along with it

To everyone defending the octane, while neither party was "in the right" per se, he needed to chill out. Both boom and candy play with the VC lower and each other's higher through discord (I'm assuming since the dudes audio was a lot quieter) so they didn't really hear him till post (and if not then that means heard them, but still wanted them just listen to him rather than ask them for the ammo). They're joking, laughing, having a good time when their teammate lashes out at them so, like most people when interrupted by someone acting somewhat Karen like in the middle of your fun, they messed with him. I doubt they would have actually kept the ammo if he needed it and they had some to spare, but he just left.
I've seen plenty of people like that octane complain about people doing that, but then hoard the ammo because "they can make better use of it and get more kills than you" only to them run in, get beamed by a full squad, and leave before they hit the ground.
From this perspective, yes, they were just ignoring him and maybe looked like they were doing it on purpose, but he was still running behind someone looting and complaining that they were looting the same stuff he was looking at.
Y'all really need to find something that doesn't stress you out to calm down and relax if this is all it takes to flip you out and take quit. Not saying don't play, just find something in addition to feel good and not stress out.

I just don't get why they increased the Pellet size of the PK as they nerfed the damage of the EVA.
It's like Respawn has this rule where one shotgun just has to be the top dog of the class.
but all the shotguns this season are equally balanced unlike eva last season being overused due to how strong it was.
if anything the EVA needs to be nerfed again, that shit still slaps harder due to its insane range

Kandy literally could have easily killed everyone in fragment building by hip firing the rampage. The rampage needed a nerf since last season, but continues to dominate any situation.
