Pure class, Kite was handed a gentleman's game and he preserved that tradition. Instant, incurable Tom Kite fan from that moment on.
Crenshaw was a disgrace as were the rest of the US team,wives and whoever else behaved like rabid wildebeest trampling over the green and showing such disrespect to Olazabal and the traditions of golf. Crenshaw would have earned respect if he had told Leonard to pick up Olly's ball and concede the putt for a half but he was too desperate to win and accordingly has earned the same contempt that he showed for the values that the game of golf holds dear.
