Honestly the biggest difference between the states is the weather and geography. The states aren’t really even as culturally different as they used to be because there’s so much mixing happening now between one state and the other with many Californians moving to Texas for example. There are some cultural differences between the states but it’s not as great as you would think.

The reason our fountain drinks are much bigger is because we automatically fill it half way with ice. So unless you specifically state “no ice” half the cup is going to be solid ice, not the actual beverage

"Definitely check your weather throughout the year" was my favorite tip!! Speaking of tips you only need to tip 15% MAX on the pretax total. Don't like some Gen Z ding dongs tell you otherwise. Also, you only tip at a sit down restaurant where the waiter is managing the refilling of your drinks. Lots of other places like coffee shops have a tip jar, thats totally optional as it only credit card machine that ask you how much you want to tip at those places, just proundly hit no tip. They get paid. Waiters in sit down places get paid less and yes they are in for tip money and most do quite well as many many many people tip way over 15% by choice.

Our grocery stores do sell alcohol it just depends on the state you are in each state has different laws regarding that and Walmart is kind of the one stop shop so it's target but in the New Jersey New York area they really don't have those stores that's mainly everywhere else I think in that market you'll find stores like a Dwayne Reid maybe CVS Walgreens things like that but would do have 1 stop shops where you can get all of these things but again as far as alcohol goes it depends on the state you're in and Florida you can get it pretty much everywhere gas stations grocery stores et cetera but places like Pennsylvania you have to go to a state On the liquor store to get your alcohol and they do not operate on Sundays so it really depends on where you are

  • @miguelcarrasco6511

Things are not expensive EVERYWHERE. it really depends on the state/city. New Jersey for example has some of the highest tax. Also, whether or not a supermarket carries alcohol/ otc medication may depend on the county. I live in chicago and our supermarkets carry beer, liquor and medication. But in some texas counties they dont sell alcohol.

Me (Romanian) first time having Starbucks was in London actually, I ordered a large and I swear I’ve never seen such a huge cup before in my life.
