I was full of day dreams, living for my horses, love of and life with my Father and Step Mother and friends. Chasing jack rabbits, racing my dad on the river trails on the horses, racing the horses across the river to the sandy beach for a rest and some shade. There were a few utterly perfect periods of time in life. This was the last of innocence. I know people assume losing innocence means sex, but it can be any number of things. It was not sex for me. This song helped me to find where the break off happened. We all need to find that place, return to it and transition out of it with the wisdom we have now in order to be whole. I'm so glad that I found this song. Literally so beautiful.
I had a dream.... When I was younger I had all these dreams for my future adult self, and now that I am adult. I don't think a single one of those dreams ever became reality. That could become really depressing if I dwelled on it long enough. This songs makes me think though of the "what if's."
