cool video.... have you ever taken your boat from Homosassa River to Crystal River? how long did it take? we bought a 22' tritoon with a 200 and would like to make this trip if safe.

I went from Pete's Marina in Crystal River to monkey Island in homosassa in about an hour and a half but I don't have a speedboat either, I can hit 38 mph with it

Always cut the meat from the bottom. Then you can pull the membrane off in one piece from the back.

Appreciate the video very much. Going scalloping today, is Macraes the best landing to get to the scallop grounds? Do they charge to launch and park? Wife wants to see Monkey Island and some manatees as well, how far up the river is all that located? Thanks for any help.

How was scalloping! Sorry for the delayed response. I was heading to key west and had a rough go getting down here..
Yes you now have to pay to launch your boat, Monkey island is just east of mcraes.

@@Fishnfl1 Thanks so much for the reply. We did not limit out, but got enough to have a nice meal for the two of us. Those are not chimpanzees on the island, but another smaller monkey. Did not see any manatees, but did see several dolphins.
