Bougainvillea is not a vine but a climbing shrub. You can also grow it as an annual to give a tropical touch to your container garden. It grows best in full sun in medium to large pots.
8. Honeysuckle
Most of the honeysuckle varieties are evergreen in warmer climates. When growing honeysuckle in pots, place the plant in full sun and do regular watering.

Similar to other jasmines, it also likes a warm climate and exposure to the sun. The beautiful star-shaped flowers appear in clusters.

13. Mandevilla
Its funnel-shaped flowers appear all summer. It requires a warm climate to thrive, but you can still grow it as an annual in cooler zones.
14. Cup and Saucer Vine
Cup and saucer vine is a fast-growing flowering plant that is native to Mexico. It blooms prolifically but to do this the plant needs an optimal bright location.
15. Passion Flower
If you prefer an exotic flair and extraordinary flowers, the passionflower is the right choice for you. It is important that you provide it sufficient sun.
16. Black-Eyed Susan Vine
It is a perennial vine hardy in frost free regions that requires a sunny place and a trellis to climb on. Black-eyed Susan is ideal if you want colorful flowers and privacy in your container garden.
17. Dutchman’s Pipe
If you are looking for an unusual plant for your container garden, plant the Dutchman’s pipe. The heart-shaped foliage also provides interest apart from flowers.

Hallo, Your all plants look gorgeous growing. I am living in Canada 🇨🇦 so difficult. Thank for showing.
not difficult at all!
I have the garlic vine so so sweet with shade of purple wow my fav
My house came with morning glory Virginia creeper one a day bloom perrywinkle bamboo and there's a abandoned house that has wisteria and personally I love have them all and so do the neighbors ❤ it's see what my house came with that got me really into gardening and homesteading I don't mind my over grown invasive beauties and I with to add more to it native and some not so native the hardest plant to kill or maintain is the bamboo do not plant it without a 3 to 4 ft deep boarder all the way around or it will consume your neighbors back yard and force the to just do a garden maze as I have planned 😅
Yep I added in passion vine to my backyard and I have two types of moon flowers one is vine as seen in video and other is a bush with tiny pink flowers and I have native grapes mustage for wine and edible white grapes 🍇
These pictures of ridiculously beautiful plants made me jealous. Mine never looks that good.
I know
your flowers dont love you
Do you know why Michelle, because "Grass looks greener on the other side." Lol... I have a hanging kitchen lamp which came with my house. I have never liked it! One time, I was at a neighbors across from my home. I looked towards my kitchen window and there was my beautiful lamp, which I hated 😅
Same here. I try so hard but nothing grows here.
I get a tad jealous when I see these youtube flowers/gardens. Sigh ... same here mine never grow to the heights and sizes shown on these channels. Of course, I don't have drip to everything, tons of compost, beautiful soil, etc. But when I see my first hydragnea leaves I get just as excited or more because I grew it without staff, without drip lines and with my best efforts my flowers reward me and the birds with a show every year.
I love flowers I would like to have a ice garden one day and am glad to know names of these flowers mostly we just grow plant flowers without knowing the names thanks a lot for this video

Nice 👍
Lovely❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was told English ivy was invasive, but I bought it anyway. I am usually pretty good with plants. But, for a plant that is hard to kill? Well, I did it. I killed the English ivy. That will teach me to buy invasive plants that can't be killed. My patio planter in need of a climber remains bare.
V beautiful
Wow
Best video E V E R about climbers plants❤❤❤❤

Beautiful Vine
Enjoyed your segment. I live in central Alabama, zone 7 and 8. I want to plant a vine (preferably floral, in the tank of a commode so that it hangs over the commode. It will get full sun. What do you suggest?

Hello sir I watch your amazing video from mandi deep bhopal province madhya pradesh. India.
Omg! Morning Glory vine overtook my yard… am in GA. Took about 8 applications of round up to get rid of it!
It’s coming back again 🤯
Did you plant it in pot or on ground? I m germinate a morning glory also in Georgia think of how should I
No doubt you have shred the best vines. Atleast i need 10 out of them please
I agree
Did you plant it in pot or on ground? I m germinate a morning glory also in Georgia think of how should I plant them?
I see pros and cons of some vines especially ivy..putting on the pot is a lot better ..you can control the spread..
If you plant morning glory even in pots they’ll overtake your garden. The morning glory flower drops it’s seed where ever it lives.
Yes! Don’t do it!!!!
I have a cup and saucer vine. I live in Alaska and it's been cold and wet . The vine grew but no flowers. Will this do well as an indoor houseplant.over the winter?
Has anyone had experience growing the Silver Lace vine in containers? It is hardy and fragrant, but can also reseed heavily.
Спасибо Отец Небесный

Cardinal vine & cypress vine are same or different? Same picture is shown for both.
Cardinal creeper and Cypress vine look similar. Are they same?
Cardinal climber is a hybrid of cypress vine
@@malaikahansen What is the major difference of the hybrid from Cypress vine? What is the improvement from the original?
@@MIDRaju Cypress Vine has fern-like foliage, while the Cardinal Vine has a broader leaf and a slightly larger flower.
@@malaikahansen Thank you👍❤
The narrator of this video also said the Cardinal Vine flowers close up
at night
How the vines are standing like a proper standing plant?
Grown in containers ? Will they return the following year? In Zone 5 ?
are you putting something in the middle of the pot to make it go up?
Really thank you for this very informative video, but also now that I’d like to plant these vines, where do I buy them? As seeds or as plants? Thanks
You can buy the plants from any local garden center or nursery. If you're unable to find some of these, you can buy the seeds online. Most of these vines grow pretty quickly.
@@BalconyGardenWeb please help me buy the seeds online
If you live in the South, many of these are invasive and should not be introduced into your garden, even in pots. Google them before planting.
Agree with you. But you can easily control the growth of a potted plant.
Yes! Especially ivy. Its invasive in the entire u.s. it should not be sold here at all.
I put hummingbird aka trumpet vines in my garden. Worst thing I ever done year three and am still trying to kill roots all over garden, as soon as spring arrived I will be at it again
@@bobbiechinn9578 I always wonder when I see Ivy in the stores. I cannot help but think of rats.
@@verawallace9055 oh dang. I think they are very cool. My mom has one that is like a tree in her backyard. Sorry they are not good for you.
I am from Oman, where I can get theses plants or seeds ? Could you help me?

No, most are not winterhardy. Honeysuckle, climbing hydrangea, wisteria, climbing roses, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Grape wine, and ivy are winterhardy. But usually you don't plant them in a pot. You plant them in the ground, but of course you could try it in a pot. But better don't use ivy, it sticks to walls and grows enorm and spreads. It's self climbing. Parthenocissus is also selfclimbing (on a wall with no windows, e.g. a garage, you can let it grow, but it will also grow on top of it). If you grow a self climber on a house wall you must cut windows free and cut the edge so that it doesn't grow on the roof. The berries of ivy are toxic. And climbing hydrangea and wisteria develop very thick branches. If they grow around something there will be pressure on it. Wisteria attracts a lot of bees. Look the plants up in the Internet, how they climbe, if you need a rack, how big they get, how long they bloom, if you have a Bee poison allergie, if they attract a lot of bees, and if they are maybe invasive and because of that forbidden in your country. The sweet Autumn Clematis has evergreen leaves and can be in a mild clima winterhardy. But of course normal Clematis are winterhardy. They are not evergreen. Some varieties can even be planted in a pot. For a pot you would take a small variety. You can also plant Clematis in big containers or in the ground. Some have bell shape ( C. tangutica 'Lamton Park' has yellow flowers, it grows very big. C. alpina, viticella and montana exists in many varieties and also grow alot). Clematis integrifolia is the smallest kind of Clematis. And all the normal clematis Hybrides come in different sizes and colours, and flower shapes
Plz show some can be grown in Zone 5-6 . Be appreciated. Bye 👋 from Canada 🇨🇦.
I live in Canada 🇨🇦 as well did you get any info. back from your question?
