You have to remove as an assembly,, Frame is in the way of housing so you have to at least part way remove engine, about six or eight bolts and separate driveshaft,, Sometimes bevil gear leaks oil because bearing is starting to go out,,, check is out good ,,

Hey man I'm putting a Vulcan 1500 back together and I have a plug on the throttle body that came undone I'm not sure how the pins went.
I dont know,, try looking at pics used throttle body for sale on E-Bay ,,, maybe wire diagram as well
