dude you are AMAZING really I have no words, like, I was trying to find a song to learn so I decided to learn time travel so I seacherd for the music sheet and I found yours, it's so nice that you made the sheet it's so kind :) and now I just have this video to help me with the finger aaaaaaa I'm so happy you have NO idea!! thank you so much, when I finish learning this song I will post a video here I guess :) I'm really so happy that you dedicated your time to make all this!! HAVE A NICE DAY JULIAAA! love your hard work :)))
@@IndyLaLune Sorry for the delay, but, to be honest, It's been around 3-4 days since I started learning the beginning, but it's going pretty well :) I was kind of afraid to start learning this song but now I feel confident to keep learning it. I can play it until 1:00 around 75% good, and I think that in 7-9 days i'll be playing until 1:17 in regular speed, at least I hope lol but let me know if you wanna know more about how's my progress :)
@@IndyLaLune Indyyy it's crazy how I thought that I could play it in regular speed lol, I've been having problems with 0:58 - 2:05 speed. I've never played songs with this rythm and this BPM (fast notes are the problem!!), that's why I'm struggling! I was kind of afraid to read 1:33 - 2:05 because it seemed difficult and I stopped practicing... but I finally finished it :) Now I'm practicing this part with a metronome and I'll increase the BPM just when I feel confortable and then I'll match the first part (0:58 - 1:33) and the second one, because in the first part I focused on the speed and not on the clarity of the notes and now the right hand is faster than the left hand, but I'll match the BPM of both part and trynna practice right this time! It's fun to learn it but I feel like it's gonna be really hard to play at 120 BPM in a natural way, I feel like I improved my fingering on piano, my right hand is a lot better but not enough... I really like this piece and I really want to give my best. Anyways, here's my ''progress''. If you have any tips about how to play fast notes I'm here to listen, have a good day!
The fingering is a very personal preference ya? It’s quite different from one tutorial to another, n i already have a very comfortable fingering myself, it’s a combination of multiple tutorials lol But I’m still struggling with 1:32 on how to combine both hands though and this tempo is incredibly helpful thanks
Yup, fingering is a personal preference and depends on a lot of factors including hand size and anatomy. I put in the ones that work for me in hopes that it would give other people a starting place to learn from, cheers!
@@howhowholywoo Focus on accuracy in everything! It's a very good way to speed up after that. I hope the day comes when I can play until the end. Fighting!
I'd recommend no pedal from the beginning to the end of the A section (end of bar 17 in the linked sheet music) and then pedal-release every quarter note beat from bar 18-37. From bar 38-41, just use the pedal to connect the B octaves to the G/B chords in the left hand, and a similar idea from bar 42 to the end. If in doubt, just listen to recordings from the movie and let your ear guide you, I am not super technical with my pedalling (or my playing for that matter lol). Good luck learning this piece! It's a fun one to play :)
I didn't put fingerhints in the sheet music on Musescore because it makes the music look messy. The fingerhints in this video are just suggestions and what works for me though. You could copy them over yourself or write your own depending on what works for you. Cheers.
THANK YOU FOR ADDING THE FINGER PLACEMENTS

I'm trying to learn this piece at the moment, what would you recommend in the way of pedaling?

Hi thanks for sharing! I downloaded your sheet from musescore but no fingerhint in Synthesia. How to fix that?
I didn't put fingerhints in the sheet music on Musescore because it makes the music look messy. The fingerhints in this video are just suggestions and what works for me though. You could copy them over yourself or write your own depending on what works for you. Cheers.
