Some incredible playing in this video. Tim is a freaking monster of a low player and the fact he does this on an F tuba is absolutely mind blowing! I couldn't even imagine what he would sound like if he played this on his CC tuba!

That moment when you're thinking of how you enjoy the piece and want to play it at your next recital, only to hit 4:30 in the video, and nope the fuck out. As far as I know, only a hundred or so players in the world have a low range like that, and I am not one of them.

I can hit a pedal G, and I'm in high school, but playing just the Bb loud is hard in itself...

Jacob Phillips I saw him play this a few months ago live and he can seriously play so loud you wouldn't even believe. As much as anyone practices, you've got to be something really special to hit those pedals as loud and as full as he does. I'm can comfortably say I will probably never be able to do this piece after hearing him do it lol.
