That was clever of Sam to imply that his former “friends” tried to dine-and-dash. That’s a sure fire way to make college students disgusted with someone, and it was close enough to the truth to not really be lying.
Yes, since a lot of college students are working as restaurant servers to get through school, someone who tries a dine-and-dash is going to be a pariah in their eyes.
Honestly though I know how it is to be used like this. Difference is I am not rich myself, so I relish in the revenge this guy got on those fake friends.
A great saying for the last story. "Never confuse kindness for weakness." If friends are using you this badly, they're not your friends, they're parasites.
I very much embody that saying. I am the kindest person many people will ever know but if you try to take advantage of me or take my kindness for granted then my kindness will turn into wrath. A great example is there was this lady who used to stand outside the store that I work at, begging for people to buy her food etc. The first time I saw her was after work and I immediately wanted to help her, she wanted to have one of our stores roast chickens for dinner with her son. She let me know that she wasn’t allowed inside but her son was and he could come by later. And because that day was one of the days that I was feeling nauseous around the smell of cooked food (I don’t know what it happens but my body gets like that sometimes) I instead offered to get her cash back and I’d buy something for myself while I give them the cash. So I ended up buying some oatmeal that I could use to make cookies and got $20 cash back (which is significantly more than they needed) but and I gave her the cash and I offered her some oatmeal. Fast forward a couple years, and she eventually started to be brave enough to enter the store with the people who offered to buy her food. One time when I had a lull in customers, I took the opportunity to blow my nose (I needed to because I had sneezed earlier due to one of my many many scent sensitivities combined with my typical chronic congestion). As I was finishing blowing my nose the woman came around the corner to the till and ran by letting the lady who was buying food for her put it all on the belt. As I always do after blowing my nose I changed my gloves to ensure I’d have clean hands and rang through all the items. After payment went through our service desk operator came through remind me that she had been banned from the store, and also that she was complaining about me blowing my nose. The next time I saw her she once again had someone buying food for her and came through my till. Fortunately this time the person who was paying for her had to use the washroom and so I had her to myself for a few minutes. So of course I ask her about her problem with me blowing my nose, and explain that I do always change gloves so I don’t have anything left on my hands. She decides that she doesn’t care and that her problem is that she could see me while I blew my nose, and I repeatedly explain that when there aren’t many cashiers on it is important for me to leave my till to go somewhere private, but she doesn’t care at all. I then let her know that I know she’s been banned from the store and I’m being very kind to let her stay. Eventually she suggests that she would complain to a manager about me, and I sweetly let her know there is absolutely nothing she can do, because my managers all know that I’m the most friendly and loved cashier they have, and they’ll immediately know something is up with her and that when they ask my side of the story she’s going to lose any of the leeway she’s currently getting from them. She then shuts up clearly uncomfortable, and I keep smiling and staring at her until the other person gets back from the washroom and pays, and I never saw that woman again. I’ve also had a similar experience with other rude “customers” who I went out of my way to help with things most employees wouldn’t do but later it turned were really trying to cheat us out of some money so I confronted them. I saw those people one other time, and the sweetly indicated to them that I’m the store’s best cashier, and I never see them again either. The last story I can think of off the top of my head is this one lady who is complaining about the fact that she can’t find produce bags, and asks me to go find them (it turns out we had some issues with our suppliers and we didn’t get any more in). So I go to the back of the produce department and search for an extra roll of bags or even a single produce bag. I of course can’t find any, so I instead grab a less suitable plastic bag as a substitute and I get back to my till seeing her trying to complain about me to the next customer in line (who just happens to be one of my favourite customers), and she shoots down the bag I brought her so I offer to call a manager to search for a bag for her. The manager leaves to search exactly where I did, and I end her transaction and move on to the next customer loudly saying “how’s my favourite customer” and then proceeding to have an amazing conversation showing off my top notch customer service, and by the time I finally check him out and send him on his way the lady seemingly incredibly embarrassed leaves the store before the manager could even get back. I then call the manager to let her know that the rude customer had left and I move on with my life.
For any who don't know, general contractor is the guy the owner hires to handle everything. They hire the dirt contractors, plumbers, electricians, concrete crews and everything. Start to finish, the GC makes sure things stay on schedule and get tested as required.
When a company has one person, that they rely on for a specific thing to get things going on in the company, that individual has a form of soft power in the company. When you piss that person off and they leave or they croak, or get injured it is an extreme detriment to a company and a very bad business decision.
It always amazes me when greedy execs a) put themselves in this position b) screw themselves over by refusing to paying their key person a reasonable salary. Losing a $3M contract because you wouldn't pay the guy a bonus and $60k? Insane.
I’ll never understand why these companies don’t care for their golden goose. Like, if he’s the reason they’re profiting so much, shouldn’t they say, “Yes, of course, anything to keep our golden goose happy! Want a raise? We can afford it with all the money you make for us! You want time off? Absolutely! Gotta keep you in perfect working condition to keep raking in the dough! Better retirement plan? Not a problem! We need you to be happy here and not consider leaving because we’re screwed if you do!” Like, how stupid can you be to deny the reasonable requests of your most profitable and essential employee!?
Unfortunately corruption is still fairly common in that country. When I married my wife there there was a marriage license and a Judge that needed some..."donations" to speed the process along.
That last story felt less like Sam actually taking revenge and more like "dumb people having to face the consequences of their actions" Still a great story though.
It's definitely a "little from column A, little from column B" kinda situation lol. Regardless tho, those gold digging assholes absolutely deserved it. That'll teach them to stop being entitled little brats.
@We need new president did you seriously paste the same video link in 19 comments? Yugo is a nice pupper, but why a video in Arabic talking about dogs? And on my tablet getting back to comment thread means starting on TH-cam home page, then finding RSlash again.

Oh, I had a "friend" like that. My family's pretty well off and I was well clothed, I also had a car at 18, but the important distinction here was as follows: my *dad* was rich not me, and *I* bought a car for myself from whatever I had saved up by then. So I couldn't be swindled cause there was nothing to swindle, I barely had enough money to service the damn thing.
Poor Sam :/ Having trust issues is not a fun time, speaking from experience. At least he was able to get back at his "friends." BTW, I think GC in the second story stands for General Contractor.
@@franl155 i have very few friends. I don't like people in general. So if i suddenly won a lottery. I would still have the same friends (You don't be friends with someone for 20+ years just to find out that they are not really your friends.)
Last Summer, my dearest friend sold her house for a tidy sum. After excitedly posting about the sale on social media, a woman my friend had thought was a good friend came with her hands out. Essentially demanding money, making it seem it was her right. My friend told her how she didn’t appreciate the phrasing. The other woman resorted then to threats that if she didn’t get a decent amount of money she would slander my friend to her late husband’s family. My friend saved screenshots of the extortion and blocked the other woman. My friend later told me that before the demands came, she had been planning to gift her some money. Some people. SMH
@@Gashnaw - I don't have that many real friends either; I don't have many causal acquaintances, either. Something I read ages ago has just come back: people who could be genuine friends won't approach you for fear that they'd be taken as gold-diggers.
@@kristashafer93098 - "love of money is the root of all evil". Especially amongst people who are so entitled that they think they're "owed" a sizeable chunk of someone else's good fortune In the UK, when someone won a large amount on the Football Pools, the company would send a support team to help the person adjust to their new reality - this included a team to handle all the begging letters that would come flooding in.
LOOOL Sam is awesome, i’m glad those greedy a**holes got what they deserved. The nerve of that one girl just sliding her bill over to Sam. I REALLY hope he just nonchalantly slid it right back to her 😂
Huge missed opportunity with that last story. Sam should have cancelled their flights home and not told them. They would have showed up to the airport with no ticket home, and no hotel room to go back to since they already would have checked out. 👌
Re story 1: In most places, you have the right to withhold rent (You do have to show it's being held it in escrow, you can't just spend it on something else) as leverage to get the landlord to uphold the lease. If you're ever in a similar situation, check and see if that applies to you.
Here's the thing about the worker situation. Somewhere along the line, society decided low level employees are worthless. However, the reality is they are essential to the success of the business. McDonald's wouldn't be crap without someone flipping the burgers and cooking the fries. Amazon wouldn't exist without people picking, packing, and shipping the merchandise. We tell these people if they can't survive on the wages, just get a better job. In reality, though, our economy would fully collapse if no one did this kind of work. But, we have the balls to tell them they deserve to struggle to survive.
I couldn't agree more, and I would also extend that thought to workers' opinions as well. If an employee that you have covering a specific section asks you to change something, no matter how minor or major, chances are they have some kind of point to make as that employee knows what people are looking for in that section. If the manager says, "no we can't do that" or "I don't think we need that", despite not doing as much in that section, then that manager has just shown the employee that they don't value that person or anything they say that might help.
It's tragic how we view jobs these days. Like, we need them to survive but the fact so many people expect us to be 'thankful' or something is ridiculous. Job is not a favor, it's a transaction
"Friends": *"We have some plans to meet with the other guys."* Sam: **Walks out on them, refusing to help them pay** Also Friends: *"You can't leave us like this!!"* Sam: *"I have some plans to meet with the other guys."* Also Also Friends: **Surprised Pikachu Face**
The first story makes the homes from infestation (it was a show about animal infestation) look tame by comparison. Also how bad could someone be to let this happen? I hope op left that house. It's not worth it
So supposedly the landlord is a greedy piece of work, so why would he have saved a little bit of money on the water counter routing and not have made an individual ticker for each trailer in order to drain his tennants of every penny? Greed really blinds one to opportunities, doesn't it. I would have just opened the faucet and let it run.
Oh, my god... I used to be like Sam back at school: most of my "friends" only came to me to borrow money and never gave it back, and I let them get away with it too, for far too long. After a year and a half of that BS, I never let people borrow money from me again.
Thanks for reminding me to check my pay stubs. I got another raise, and I've hear there are sometimes "accidents" where they "forget" to update your pay. Turns out they shorted me 5 cents per hour. They rounded down. How petty.
After what I've been through with BBs, I would have left the moment I noticed them. But i understand why op didn't have any other options or at least didn't think they did. I hope they are doing well now.
I know story number 4, as I am pretty sure I live near one of those homes. They were really scummy and mistreated my grandparent. So HUGE thanks to OP for shutting them down!
Roaches don't smell if they are kept as feeders for reptiles since there arent too many and they are in a small space that gets cleaned. However I can imagine how much they would smell if they were in a big space while breeding
honestly, i dont understand why employers would rather hire new people at a lower pay than just keep their employees happy... so I handed in my notice at a semi-caual chain restaurant and the reason why was because I quily realised that this company didn't care about me hiring myself for them but they didn't want the responsibitly. i was made to feel guilty everytime I called in I'll even when I seriously hurt my back and was bed ridden for days...it's honestly sad as we went from having over 15 floor staff to now just 7ish and I'm leaving so they are only giving me a shift a week instead of 2 or 3, but no worries. I've used the extra time to work on my dreams and with God as my helper I know I'm going to be more than fine once I go as I'm hoping to return to school in a couple of months.
Agent Lii forgot a very important axiom. "Be careful of who you mess with, you never know what they're cable of." Or in this case who they know. I usually replace the word 'mess' with a much more salty word that begins with F and rhymes with duck.
For all the young people out there. One thing no one really tells you about work: you can work hard, bust your ass, and be a great employee, but generally, if you don't play the internal politics game in your company, you won't go anywhere. You have to play the social game as much as it sucks. Get to know your boss, your boss' boss, and that person's boss. Keep an eye out for the butt kissing sycophants who will try to screw you at every turn. Be friendly but cautious. You may make some genuine friends at work but they might also betray you to get something for themselves. And work is not your family...unless it is your family, but even then companies will use "but we're family" the same way your narcissistic aunt does to get what they want.
You're absolutely right, Dominic. I'm a nurse who has worked at hospitals in 2 different states over the past 40+ years.......& medical facilities are every bit as bad as any non-clinical organization. After all, the bottom line is: they are, 1st & foremost, a BUSINESS!

The airport extortion story reminded me of my own experience. I spent a year of college studying abroad in Hungary, but on my flight out for Christmas break, I was stopped by Hungarian customs. The officer there claimed that I had overstayed my visa (I hadn’t) and that I would have to go to a department of something-or-other in central Budapest in order to fix my documents. Of course, this would have forced me to miss my flight. I argued for a minute or two before it became clear that I was being shaken down. So I asked if I could pay the fine there. You could almost hear the official’s brain’s gears grinding, and he asked for what was then (in Hungary) a princely sum of… $20. I popped open my wallet, which was full of bills, peeled one out and handed it to him. His face fell as he realized that he could have asked me for so much more. Long story short: got shaken down, paid a tiny “fine”, made the flight.
hey, I've been following your channel for a little while and your channel is the thing that I listen to while I draw! Keep up the good work and I hope your channel continues to grow!
That last story reminded me of when I was 30 years old and an army wife. My husband passed away three years after we were married. He had a life insurance policy that was large enough for me to move out and start a new life without him. It was a devastating time for me. I had reconnected with a friend of mine after she heard about his death. She and I hung out a few times before I decided to move out of state for a while. During these hangouts, she told me about her loser/cheater boyfriend who she wanted to leave but couldn’t because she didn’t have the money. She cried to me over the phone about how all she wanted to do was get away from him and start a new life with her daughter. If only she had the money to do it…blah, blah. I felt for her and sent her a few thousand dollars. I don’t remember how much, but it was more than enough for a deposit, first months rent and for movers to move all of her things. She thanked me and told me what a good friend I was. The thing that bothered me was, she took my money and never moved out. Her and that guy were together for years after that. She also never gave me that money back. I would never ask for it because that’s not who I am, but it always bothered me.
Yeah, that's why you (hindsight is 20/20, I know) say, "Send me the contact information of the moving company, and I'll work out the details and payment with them", and so on, for everything else she "needs". Same like bums on the street. They want "money for food" but offer to bring some food to them, even asking "what would you like [within reason]?", and they'll get pist. They don't want the food, but the money. That's when you know to just walk away.
I work at a very small family owned Steel Fabrication Shop, everything we do is custom, no prefab. We're down to 5 guys in the shop and haven't been able to find a painter for over a year. We're a small business and can't compete with the salaries that corporations in our area are offering. We're struggling just to keep up with our work load. Yes, companies should treat their employees well, but us small guys can't compete with the deep pocketed whales that are corporations, and that's killing us.
Do NOT force a landlord to make you pay for bed bug removal at a new place. In most areas (at least in the US), there are pro-tenant laws protecting people SPECIFICALLY against bed bugs, because they really suck and they’re hard to beat.
Employers were always supposed to be grateful, their culture of egotistical BS is just crashing down around them after decades of undervaluing dedicated staff.
Lee should be in jail. I wonder how many other people did Lee do this too, and got away with it until OPS and her boyfriend put a stop to Lee's rain of terror at that hotel? People like Lee make me sick to my stomach.
The average wage of a Filipino Joe's and Mary' were in 200 usd a month, enough for electricity, water and (luckily) food. Guess Lee did this due to low wage the airport workers by month but they are taxed so much. Filipino wage Is not rose, daisies in Paradise for workers under the totem pole of Philippine working society.
We read that wage story a while back! lol Anyway, I listen to you literally every day on my walks. Not sure what it is about you, sir, but you slay this genre of youtube. Can't wait for tomorrow!

I am tired of employers taking the best of our work and acting like we should be grateful when the job would come to a screeching halt without us
In Australia it was pretty much the same deal. I went from 20-25k if I was lucky to a 90k paid with all the options. Same field. I even get rdo's now. Litterally trippled my salary in a spite argument with my old boss, two mins later our shared oil rep 'paul' heard me complaining, and said another mech needed work badly and i got an interview that day. I can actually save money now and pay my bills at the same time.... my first rdo is in two days.. I cant tell you how that feels. Paul.. i fcuking love you man. You changed my life for the better, and only with a few simple words. Edit: spelling. But not swearwords.
My guess would be General Contractor. Especially given the "picked up a hammer" part. Yup, after a few paragraphs, definitely a General Contractor. From what I remember of mom's house being built in 1997, the GC is like the main person you hire, but they hire subcontractors, which OP seems to be and they do the actual work, while being "supervised" by the GC. ... I say this sarcastically as the guy made sure his subcontractors cut so many corners that the entire North wall of her house is uninsulated and the pipes have frozen multiple times. -.-
First cool Rslah for a pro revenge. Second give Hugo some pets. Third the last story. Good on him for doing what he did. They were gold digging friends.
When my brother started working as a trucker like a few months ago he said that it felt like the companies themselves were auctioning for him by asking questions of who has better pay/mile and benefits
Money truly can't buy happiness. Poor Sam. Being wealthy enough to never having to work again sounds amazing, but being paranoid about people using you sounds incredibly stressful and sad. I like that he is paying himself just enough to get by every month. That's one way to prevent people from thinking you're rich.
Just losing her job and being blacklisted from govt. jobs wasn't enough for LII. That bat should've been forced to compensate him for the additional cost of the rebooking, plus moral damages for all the extra time he was forced to stay in the airport, not to mention potential meal expenses.
Kind of sad they fixed the leak to be honest lol I'd have let that keep going forever. Let that $25,000 turn in to $50,000 and more. TO THE MOON as the kids say. The non-profit story doesn't surprise me one bit. From the people I know who run non-profits, the whole system is borked. Becoming a non-profit is basically a matter of branding, they don't even really make sure you're doing what you claim you're doing. You can personally benefit from it, your family can personally benefit from it, you can write off the weirdest things as a business expense. And the local businesses will give you and your family free stuff so that they can entice you to allow them to be sponsors or let them advertise through you. My sister-in-law was even getting free botox because she ran a non profit for local moms lmao
The boyfriend in the passport story is the kind of guy who would get killed in a horror movie. The one who uses their phone to call their friend instead of 911 for help.
G.C. in this video stands for General Contractor. people will often call a General Contractor to do home remodels or repairs, they are also used to build buildings. sometimes they contract out to other General Contractors that possess a manpower, skills, or license they lack.
My former friend used to put me down for everything and anything, including not having my period. Then she joined karate; same dojo as me. 6 months later, I became a black belt and she had to bow to me. Still makes me smile to this day, 16 years later.
Word of advice, if any landlord ever tries to blame you for bringing in bed bugs get an expert to come examine and make a statement on how long they have been there. Yes they can tell how long bed bugs have been infesting a place.
The trashy trailer park one reminds me of when my family moved into a cheap trailer and it was *filled* with fleas. Like, we had to put down a plastic sheet in what later became my bedroom so that we'd have at least a little protection, and then my mom spent days just vacuuming endlessly and throwing ground up salt on the floor to dry them out and kill them. The trailer had 2 bathrooms, but the one in the master bedroom was unusable because it kept backing up and flooding due to the washing machine in the next room over. The windows leaked when it rained, parts of the floor were on the way to caving in, and the place shook so badly during storms that my m was afraid it would fall over with us in it. Oh, and we also had to build our own stairs outside (that weren't actually linked to the trailer) after my brother's foot broke through one of the planks. The previous tenants were living in filth and literally no one bothered to assess and clean the place, they just rented it cheaper because they knew it was going to be trashed.
As a bartender/server, I wish more people were working, I'm making 1000s in a week but I'm over worked because noone wants to work hard anymore... People aren't even looking for jobs that care!
GC is general contractor, the person in charge of the job site and the person who subcontracts other tradespeople. (plumbers, electricians, drywallers, painters, carpenters, masons, etc.)
Dont know if this was mentioned (probably) but I beleive GC means General Contractor. Love your videos. I listen to them almost every day. Have a wonderful day!
I’d have canceled the “friends’” plane tickets home. They can be stranded at presumably Disney land until they can scrounge together enough money to find their way back.
I imagine to college-age people, many of whom are working as restaurant servers while they go to school, someone trying to skip out on a restaurant tab probably gets them put on a shit list.
GC is "general contractor". Basically the company that hires and manages all of the plumbers, electricians, and builders for a construction or renovation project.
That story at the airport shows the lesson all swindlers and extortionists have to worry about. Before you get in over your head, be very careful who your mark is because it might be someone who could ruin your whole life.
Google says "The GC is the main contractor who is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of a construction site and hiring of the subcontractors and suppliers for a project" :)
The last story just further strengthens my resolve to not let anyone know if I ever become rich one day or win the lottery. I don't have time for false friends.
GC is general contractor. A company that can do carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc hence “general” contractor. They can do it all and have all of the trades on payroll.
I veer WILDLY between making a lot of money and making barely enough to scrape by, due to a mixture of being very highly qualified in a specialised field, and having severe mental health issues. The close friends I have and I have a sort of system where they will pay stuff for me when I'm poor, and I pay lots of stuff when I have a very high income. I really feel for Sam, because I have experienced "friends" like that during my good times.
What you should have done will withheld any rent because he cannot collect rent in a place that is not inhabitable he'll take you to court but there's nothing he can do until we fix the problem
On that last story he should have offered to pay for everyone a day before going. Then when everyone showed up he text them that he was having transportation issues and is running 20 minutes late but to go ahead and order. Then 30 minutes later say he will be there in fifteen minutes. So by the time they figure out he is not showing up they already have there food and have to pay the bill.

I then call the manager to let her know that the rude customer had left and I move on with my life.
based on OP saying he picked up a hammer....I'm guessing GC stands for "General Contractor"
yes General Contractor is correct in this context
It is
I absolutely love that I guessed this, I feel clever today 😂😂😂
For any who don't know, general contractor is the guy the owner hires to handle everything. They hire the dirt contractors, plumbers, electricians, concrete crews and everything.
Start to finish, the GC makes sure things stay on schedule and get tested as required.
wrong - it's granny crotch
Translation never mess with the IT guy
LII getting fired was probably for the best. I doubt that was the only time she tried to get someone to pay a fake fine.
Unfortunately corruption is still fairly common in that country. When I married my wife there there was a marriage license and a Judge that needed some..."donations" to speed the process along.
Luckily there are honest officials working to keep the corruption in check.
That last story felt less like Sam actually taking revenge and more like "dumb people having to face the consequences of their actions"
Still a great story though.
Feels a little of both to me.lol
It's definitely a "little from column A, little from column B" kinda situation lol. Regardless tho, those gold digging assholes absolutely deserved it. That'll teach them to stop being entitled little brats.

At least he was able to get back at his "friends."
BTW, I think GC in the second story stands for General Contractor.
Sam Story: I hate when there are genuinely nice people with a lot of money and a bunch of others just decide to be friends just for that money.
One reason I'd hate to be very rich - or at least for people to know I'm very rich: who's your friend for you and who's your friend for the money?
SMH

LOOOL Sam is awesome, i’m glad those greedy a**holes got what they deserved.
The nerve of that one girl just sliding her bill over to Sam. I REALLY hope he just nonchalantly slid it right back to her 😂
I would have.
Huge missed opportunity with that last story. Sam should have cancelled their flights home and not told them. They would have showed up to the airport with no ticket home, and no hotel room to go back to since they already would have checked out. 👌
Yes, since he paid for the tickets, he would have been well within his rights to get a refund for them.
Re story 1: In most places, you have the right to withhold rent (You do have to show it's being held it in escrow, you can't just spend it on something else) as leverage to get the landlord to uphold the lease. If you're ever in a similar situation, check and see if that applies to you.
I'll be keeping that in mind if I ever find myself renting somewhere sometime.
"Friends": *"We have some plans to meet with the other guys."*
Sam: **Walks out on them, refusing to help them pay**
Also Friends: *"You can't leave us like this!!"*
Sam: *"I have some plans to meet with the other guys."*
Also Also Friends: **Surprised Pikachu Face**
The first story makes the homes from infestation (it was a show about animal infestation) look tame by comparison. Also how bad could someone be to let this happen? I hope op left that house. It's not worth it
Me too. OP deserves better.
I checked the post. OP actually did.
Man, I feel for sam. But good on him for figuring out they were just using him.

Yeah I knew it was federal Aged care from the start…
Roaches don't smell if they are kept as feeders for reptiles since there arent too many and they are in a small space that gets cleaned. However I can imagine how much they would smell if they were in a big space while breeding
Story 2: Screwing people out of a raise is a Giga-no-no in business. You are going to be massively punished for it.
I love it how they always mistreat the person who does all the work and for whom they have no replacement.
I love a dose of pro revenge first thing in the morning!
honestly, i dont understand why employers would rather hire new people at a lower pay than just keep their employees happy... so I handed in my notice at a semi-caual chain restaurant and the reason why was because I quily realised that this company didn't care about me hiring myself for them but they didn't want the responsibitly. i was made to feel guilty everytime I called in I'll even when I seriously hurt my back and was bed ridden for days...it's honestly sad as we went from having over 15 floor staff to now just 7ish and I'm leaving so they are only giving me a shift a week instead of 2 or 3, but no worries.

Just the mention of the smell of roaches has me remembering that unique stink... Glad I don't have to deal with it anymore
GC- General Contractor. As in the main company hired for a construction job. Then the GC chooses and hires sub-contractors for specific jobs/tasks
Lee should be in jail. I wonder how many other people did Lee do this too, and got away with it until OPS and her boyfriend put a stop to Lee's rain of terror at that hotel? People like Lee make me sick to my stomach.

Last Story: I hate how entitled some people can be "Your money is my money" is the worst. I'm glad he stood his ground and let the other "friends" be a victim of their own foul play
Contractor Story: I'm so glad that he was able to better himself and get a much better job than his old job. I am tired of employers taking the best of our work and acting like we should be grateful when the job would come to a screeching halt without us
In Australia it was pretty much the same deal. I went from 20-25k if I was lucky to a 90k paid with all the options. Same field. I even get rdo's now. From what I remember of mom's house being built in 1997, the GC is like the main person you hire, but they hire subcontractors, which OP seems to be and they do the actual work, while being "supervised" by the GC.

G.c. stands for general contractors. Thanks for the daily videos. Snuggles for Hugo.

I would never ask let alone expect a friend to pay for everything for me. If I don't have enough money I'm not going
