WELCOME to the Queen rabbit hole! This video was made before MTV (1975). Most promotional videos were just 1 or 2 cameras shooting a band lip syncing without any embellishments. Queen was going on tour & wouldn't be able to do tv appearances so they decided to make a video & because the song was so over the top they wanted the video to be too. It was recorded in about 4 or 5 hours & cost about 5000 British pounds (expensive in those days - cheap once MTV showed up). Band basics: Freddie Mercury - vocals, piano, guitar. Had a degree in graphic design. Died of AIDS related illness in 1991 at age 45. Brian May - guitar, vocals, piano. Built his guitar (The Red Special) with his father out of an old fireplace. Has a PhD in astrophysics & consults w/ NASA. Roger Taylor - drums, vocals, guitar (but not on Queen material). Has a degree in biology (started dentistry school but quit when Queen got serious). John Deacon - bass, piano, guitar, backing vocals in concert. Has an advanced degree in electrical engineering. Built a unique amp called the Deaky Amp which Brian still uses to this day. Retired from music in 1997. All 4 members write songs and each has had at least one #1 hit. All 4 have been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Because all 4 write they all bring a variety of influences and Queen music spans multiple genres including rock, metal, pop, folk, gospel, rockabilly, blues, funk, opera and more. They formed in 1971 so there is 20 years of musical genius to explore.
Awesome reaction! This song was released in 1975, but it remains popular, it was last on the charts in 2018. This is a great example of why people like rock music. The song was written by lead singer Freddie Mercury, everyone wrote music in the band, and they were all great musician who could more then one instrument. Freddie Mercury is often voted as the best vocalist of all time. Queen is the 4th best selling artists of all time. The song was written like an opera, it is one of the most complex popular songs, with 49 different cords, whereas popular songs today have 1- 3 different cords. Queen was far more then a rock band, they actually did practically any genre of music, I suggest you check out Another One Bites The Dust - Queen, it is very different from Bohemian Rhapsody. You might know some other Queen songs such as We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions.
Bohemian rhapsody was recorded in 3 weeks at that time so it was production run of whole album. A night At The opera was recorded at 9 months....like kid 😃
Great reaction - thanks! Queen are one of the few bands who are better live than in the studio. You might want to try "Somebody to Love" Live at Montreal 1981.
You shold've listen to this with headphones on🤟😊it's another level of experience🤟, next react to another masterpiece you probably hear hear before We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, nice reactiom

Great reaction, thanks. Welcome to the Queen's world! The band created beautiful harmonies in the studios, but their live performances were on another level and Freddie Mercury's stage presence put the crown on them. Please, check out Somebody To Love at Montreal 81. You can rise your experience by using headphones or earpods.
check out Greenday concert at Hyde Park in London, 65000 people sing this song before the Greenday concert starts. This almost the second National Anthem for Brits!

If you've hooked a phat assed older school guy in the sticks you are apparently doing something right so don't change it too much and let it progress slowly and don't force it. Good things happen to guys like you naturally and it is just so amazing. Just don't be conned by a slick dude who will try to scam you and what you have... Good luck my friend...
