Necro/Retri have weird interactions with vamps and Vh turned vigis. I had a Retri game, used a former VH to shoot someone, but the target didnt get shot, and I was hanged, causing town to lose.
I wonder if you used the vamp on a different townie other than a VH turned Vig if it'd work since it's possible VH's have a 'can't be turned' flag on them regardless if vamps are still in the game or not. Something to maybe experiment with.
@@gumiguy by the other comments and Wiki, it works, just not always. Theories are that it needs to be a biting night or the vamp is supposed to be the youngest.

I had a game as CL once and there was a Medusa - somehow I managed to just be ignored the whole game and the Medusa somehow successfully claimed veteran.. like.. the ENTIRE game. We found the janitor of the round and just teamed with them; Medusa would get the house kill, janitor would clean it up! It worked for so long that once janitor ended up becoming godfather, they killed jailor and gave coven the win. Still don’t understand how it happened since I don’t remember coven and mafia existing in coven all/any but I play the Roblox version the most so I’m not experienced with the mechanics of town of Salem lol (Roblox version is Bloxston Mystery)
Imagine a new coven only town support Role called “Grave Keeper”, knows when someone visits the GY (retri, necro, and…let’s say psy visits every night 2 and onward as well for convenience): “(Name) has visited the graveyard”. And has 2 “cremate” that prevent the dead from being used by the retri/necro And then maybe add a NE called “Grave Robber” whose job is to loot 3 different dead factions members at night whose affected by GK aswell.
Only problem is it's already hard enough for Ret/Necro to actually use bodies as it is. Also, why would Psy visit but not Med? The info it gives is also too powerful if it gives names, and useless if there just aren't any roles it interacts with in the game aside from the negative information that provides. I would change it to only tell how many people visited the graveyard, but not their names or roles, and change it so that Med is seen instead of Psy. This way you can soft-confirm Med and Ret claims but don't instantly out a Necro with precise info. If this role existed I would also buff Necro to be invisible to GK if they have the book (similar to how the book makes the holder "inno" to Sheriff). Reduce Cremate ability to only once and only on non-town, or replace it with a one-time day ability to lock up the GY and prevent anyone from visiting at night, though you still know if anyone tried and the bodies remain usable in the future (effectively rbing the Ret/Necro). It could work with some tweaking. GR on the other hand, not to be mean, but most of the time that just seems like a Survivor with extra steps since you have to make it at least through day 4 and that's assuming the appropriate people have died to be robbed. Not sure how to improve that one, but I don't think it's a good idea in its current form. Cheers for having ideas though! :)

GR just waits and hopes the right roles die. Also, I figured it would also spoil bodies so Ret/Necro can't use them, but perhaps you didn't intend that. If you intend that they spoil the bodies they loot, then they are indeed harmful to Ret/Necro. It just doesn't seem interesting to play as described. For that matter, I also think Surv should be removed, except as something for GA to turn into when their target dies. Do you have any ideas to make it more engaging to play as?

That is way different compared to Surv or GR as presented. Again, it could be interesting, it just needs something to make it a role you might be excited to get every now and then, be it a different goal, different abilities or what-have-you. Best I can come up with without spending too long thinking about it is giving them the ability to check two people and learn whether or not they are the same faction (but not which factions). This would allow them to share info to potentially get someone lynched who might help them reach their goal and would provided interesting options for GR and people playing around a GR. Another option could be giving GR info on who is in a faction with the looted body, so they know who they don't need to die.
Okay 2 things… one, vampires can’t be used by necro to bring back vamps idk what was going on inside 12s head Two, necro is rb immune, all you had to do was kill 12/4 when claiming to rb 15, since if 15 was necro they would still be able kill when rbed + they had a necro claim
You can use vamps to bring them back, if you couldn’t you wouldn’t be able to use vamps. It just appears that the camp mechanics still apply even with the dead one (you have to wait a night between bite)

If the target is converted, Vampires will gain an added member, and must wait a day to convert again if all previous Vampires were dead. Former Vampire Hunters turned Vigilantes will not revert back to Vampire Hunters. If there are too many Vampires members this may be useful, but otherwise it is largely ineffective as just gives more numbers. From the wiki. It does work but the interaction is a bit weird for some reason.

I think you can add vamps back as necro, I've had it happen. There is a chance a vamp was alive and it allowed a conv but as a whole it very much seemed like the vamps got brought back
That's such a bummer restriction not to be able to bring back the vamps to the game by necroing them onto someone. I don't know the rules all that well, but I am assuming that even if you could raise them and infect someone, you could not necro a vamp to bite yourself, thus changing from necro to vamp? Because that would be a real plot twist as a last surviving coven.
In the final 4, couldn't you just have killed 12 and then convinced 4 that 15 was necro- hey I rbed 12 and now that 15 wasn't rbd he used necro to kill 12. Smh, just realized It doesn't work if 4 realizes that you didn't visit 12 tho.

You cannot do that because the Pitate's Duel is a day ability,not a night ability.

Had the former VH used their bullet? As vigi’s who have used all bullets don’t shoot when used by ret/necro.

I have done it on a jester it works
Had a game where I was necro with only a dusa. I told them “a necro, a dusa and a dream” then I get stabbed by SK and Vamp on N1
