That mayor not voting anyone was pretty smart. 4 alive, 3 town slots, if he votes out the wrong tp he is garunteed to die. The real 5Head play would be voting out the psy, it ensures he has lethal protection since atleast 1 tp is real. If Godfather didn't attack (to wait out ret protection) they would vote out the trapper since if trapper is real the protection stays regardless, if not real they win. Next night he can vote out the fake bg with the real trap. Such an interesting scenario to think about.
What's funny is that 2 went for the psy to try to 50/50, which means he lost anyway for the same logic. If ret didn't use BG on psy and it was a 50/50 then both would say they protected mayor, so mayor could safely Lynch the trapper, since if trap is real mayor is safe. And if gf killed the mayor when ret protected the psy, the ret had more of an excuse to "save his protect" or claim he already used it than the trapper so trapper would get lynched probably. Tbh gf had the best chance if he chanced the mayor kill and got it but it woulda still been sketch

If Mayor died, then trapper is confirmed fake in a 2v1. If someone else or nobody died, then mayor hangs 2 to confirm the trap. If confirmed he can hang everyone while GF can't touch him or 2 is GF and the game ends.

I was arso once in lovers mode with a pb lover. He had to visit me to turn pest so of course he was doused. But since he was pest he wouldn't die to the "surprise" ignite. PB was claiming doc. We were the only two standing at the end of the game after a huge pest+arso nuke :D

I think not voting was the best play, especially because that knowledge was overlooked. One of the two is fake, but the other is real. If the trapper is fake, the GF needs to kill the mayor, so the ret uses a BG on the mayor to stop that. If the ret is fake, the trapper has a trap to place to kill the GF who must go for the mayor. By not voting, that situation is a guaranteed loss.
I love that your playing some more Lovers mode. I would like to see some more lovers and town traitor mode if possible. Those are just chaotic and fun to watch
Lovers wins are actually pretty easy when the entire lobby knows how they work. A lovers win doesn't only happen when you and your lover are the only survivors. It will also trigger when all of the loverless people are dead. All of the lovers will win together this way, even if it's something like ww+dusa and sk+gf pairs where none of them share a faction. Since the game starts off with a lover majority (8v7), a town could just target the loverless as early as they can, even if it's confirmed townies. When I'm in a killer pair and we don't have strong town claims with my lover, I'll often admit to being in an evil pair and ask the other lovers to inno me and hunt down the loverless. If lovers win is a legitimate win condition in the game mode, I doooon't think it's throwing if for example a pair of TP gets out the loverless psychic to win with the killing lover pairs that are in the game?
In arso-town love... I wonder what if arso claimed the town role and the town claimed the arso? Attacking roles would avoid visiting the "arso" that the town claimed, while the real arso would get more douses / info about visitors. I feel like it'd be a fun strategy to pull off.

I personally would have instantly hung 2 because 2 showed up as evil and 14 good in the psy will, not to mention 2 just magically decided to "get rid of trap". thats 2 very incriminating factors on 2.

Because in lovers mode, if your lover is another faction like town, mafia or coven then you can win with that faction. Pipe’s lover was a town member so he could then win with the town.
