If you're a starting stacker you should take advantage of all of the new customer deals from the online dealers where they offer silver at no premium. Also get into the online auction platforms (not ebay) where local auction houses all over the country have coin and bullion auctions where you can sometimes find very good deals especially on 90%.
Good video & good format. And some sensible questions from your watchers. I like to know what’s going on at the sharp end (i.e. in coin shops). More please…. 🙂👍
The luster on the flying eagle cent and the detail is great, hard to believe they're so old. That's what's got me on Morgan SD's too, the design had to grow on my but the age was always cool.
I enjoyed this. As to figuring out how much is in your personal stack I will say that, until recently, I had no idea either. I had to sit down and catalogue exactly what I have. I had a general idea of what I had was worth, but not specifically and certainly not precisely
Understanding how possible reforms can affect market growth is crucial as the election approaches. Changes in your investment plan may be necessary in anticipation of legislative developments, as well as effects on sector performance and market movements
Indeed. Unemployment might rise and the economy could get tougher, but there are still good investment opportunities right now. My 120k portfolio grew by 70% over the last four months by investing in volatile sectors.
Great video! So much good information. I've been a type coin collector for over 50 years and have never seen an 1856 flying eagle penny in person. I'd love to have one, I think everyone would. I started stacking in 2017. I should have started stacking a lot sooner. I don't know how much I have, but my goals have changed as I get older. I'm stacking now so I have something to pass down in the family when I'm gone. I'm still working on a type set, probably my last one. Every coin is either PCGS, NGC, or ANACS. Every coin is a straight grade, no details coins. I try to get the highest grade I can afford in each coin, but the eye appeal has to be there too. I'd rather have a circulated coin with nice eye appeal than a mint state coin with ugly toning. Anyway, really good video.
Excellent video Josh, and not just because you answered my question! (Thank you, btw the way...I definitely will call ahead to you and others...though probably not in the winter for you...😂) I just got into stacking after watching you and the other owners/stacking content creators and I really enjoy the silver I have, and will have. I do stack for weight, and I am sticking with the BU, retail friendly sovereign mint stuff. I actually do have rounds...but I don't think I could part with those, unless I had to... When I fill that monster box up, I'll give you a call! (Spring/summer...of some year...I am in the Midwest...😂) Thanks again Josh, and keep showing your face! You will get more comfortable and you are a nice addition to the other sellers. Thanks for all you do!
Great Q and A video….i suspected that large gold sale was the ring dinger, I believe I would have had a slack jawed expression if I heard that first hand
I don't know how I missed the request for questions. I like these types of videos. Personally, I got tired of all the bullion videos because I watched a lot of them in a short period of time and pretty much learned all there is to know for my needs. One thing I would like to know is how you view trading gold for silver or vice versa as to the premiums for both the buy and the sell part of the transaction? I rarely see where the dealer will adjust premiums down so as not to make the full spread in both directions. It seems only fair to me to do that.
Hey Josh, just looking at my Redbook. I was just wondering when you sent that coin the flying Eagle cent what was the rating of the coin as I’ll just look it upmyself. In my red book. Glory to GOD!
Nice video, but you stated on gold commemoratives you pay less, because of their different weight. Pre-33 gold coins have weights similar to commemoratives, so does that mean you pay less for them also?
I have been stacking and collecting for 10 years . And let me tell you. What a waste of time and money. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody cares about gold and silver besides the tiny little community. I have been trying to sell metals to people in my state. People would rather have a used tampon instead of gold and silver. Another thing is that the only coin shop within 3 hours away will pay you nowhere near the spot price, for no matter what you have. Because they know that they are the only person in the state of Delaware who wants that trash. It took me a long time to figure out Precious Metal's are just a scam like everything else. I will never spend another dollar on metals. Cash is king 🤴. It's funny that Precious Metal's sell for worthless paper dollars. Geee I wonder why 😅
Living in Alaska with really know local coin shops I've definitely got your shop and Harry's coin shop in Portland in mind when it comes time to start executing my exit plan. Evil seem like very honest human beings.🫎🫎🫎

Howdy fellow stackers.... good afternoon...
Thanks Josh!!
Yay my question made the cut & yes I meant AGE's so thank you for the correction. I truly appreciate the answer. That was helpful and informative!
You are so welcome!
I did not expect you to have that much more silver than gold. I think you might be the only dealer I know of that stacks like that
Great information Josh. I look forward to the day I can come visit you in Minot. I live in Dickinson.

How do you approach investing? I'm struggling to develop a plan.
I use market research tools, follow financial news, and talk to my advisor regularly. She helps me stay on track
Who is your advisor?
“June Renae Matthysse.” She’s quite known
Great video, good info. Appreciate it 😊

How often do you come across fakes either Silver or Gold & what are they usually?
Great Q and A video….i suspected that large gold sale was the ring dinger, I believe I would have had a slack jawed expression if I heard that first hand

Great Video , Very Nicely Done 👍🏼
Always nice to put a face to a name. Now if we could only convince Yankee to do the same. 😅
Naw leave him be, I respect it. To each his own
Sell your Gold and Buy Silver with the proceeds. Silver is a way better buy, the Gold to Silver is insanely high
I don’t know 🤷♂️ 😂best answer
😂
Turn volume up

Do you have anymore magnifying glasses? 🔎
May I buy them from you?
You and @silverseeker starting to look the same 😂
😂
The 1856 is not that big. So many coins r 100000+ these days. But seems like nice humble shop.
Jesus I want a colorized Beavis and Butthead round wow and one for my brother.
👍👍
It's L-i-za Jane 84
Commenter should spend their $1000 on one of your impaired silver sale.
750000 is big???? That's small

No need for 90%, YOUR 90% will be my change... Why buy ugly?
