I took this train with some family in June. We went from Munich to Vienna. The ride was about four hours, but it was very comfortable and smooth. It was on my list of things to do while in Europe. Take a train ride

I ve booked tickets from Venice to Salzburg (1 trf at Villach hbf) May I know whether I will need to check in or validate my tickets prior to boarding? Many tks in advance.
Please make sure to print your tickets. We can't promise that our Italian colleagues will be able to validate them in digital form.
@@unsereOEBB yes. I have printed all tickets bought online. Including trips to n fro Hallstatt and from Salzburg to Innsbruck and finally from Innsbruck to Munich. I'm a bit confused whether i will need to stamp or check in these tickets before boarding. As I dont want to be fined for not validating my obb train tickets before boarding.
This is my favorite stream lined engine outside of north America because I'm a Canadian.
