Yeah. This song, for me, is about the fact that it has been done this and that way in the past. I put my crazy out for the neighbours to see. No reason to care about the neighbors.
This was my mom's favorite song by Miranda. She passed 12/17/19 at only 46. RIP Momma I love you and miss you so much. I can't wait to see you again one day! ❤
Such an honest song for daughters of those mothers who watched the JFK saga. Defined how women weren’t supposed to complain or show emotions. It almost drove us all CRAZY. LOVE YOU 😘
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Thank you for sharing this loving retrospective of the life of a legendary star...one who blessed my 65 years with his art. I only discovered Coldplay after Chris appeared on American Idol. Gotta say, his humility was so evident...just fell in love with his spirit. Gotta say, I am only MORE grateful for him with each passing day! Thanks & may God bless you!
Although this song is almost 5 years old, it still sounds as good as the first time. And for this performance, Miranda needs to win an Emmy or Oscar or whatever they call it.... I don't know, my brain is fried.

So true! Here are some of my mother's very Mississippi Southern rules, 1. Don't leave your bedroom without your "face" done 2. Cry in your room, in public put a smile of your face 3. Don't embarrass the family. One of the common phrases among my friends "Honey, you might want to tuck that back in; your crazy is showing." She should have won an Academy Award for this performance. No matter how many times I see it, I can't stop but laughing out loud... she is just that excellent.
I actually kind of found it annoying. She uses the same expressions too much. Watch how many times she either does the quick eyebrow raise or rolls her eyes. I count 7 in the first 45 seconds. I know you were exaggerating, but it bothered me since the first time I saw it.

Hi there ,it is nice to meeting you on here.. I'm scott by my name, it would be nice getting to know you better..if that's okay with you? My mom once said good friend are never too much to have...if you don't mind, can we be friend👏
Miranda is literally the only modern country artist I listen to. I listen to Jolene sometimes and a few Johnny Cash songs and that’s it as far as county music of any kind, except for Miranda Lambert. She has such a raw emotional power to her singing and her lyrics are so brutally honest. When I listen to her songs I feel that rebellious spirit that I think country music was originally supposed to have. Also the set design, costumes and makeup, and cinematography in this video are absolutely amazing. Those shots in the bathtub are breathtaking.
This video is perfect for this song, and Miranda's acting is terrific. LOVE IT! If I get up the nerve to do the karaoke at an upcoming event, this will be my song.
Need to remember, beauty can deadly nature shows us that. Some of the most beautiful animals are the most deadly. Now, look at the beautiful flowers. 😊 Remember, the cookies are always free.
As a warning for all the women who have parents like this, don't let them make you suppress your feelings; as someone with experience in this, I completely lost my shit when it all came to the surface. Give them the ultimatum that it's either now, or when it becomes so much that you really make them look bad.
Been there, done that. My mother is exactly like the one in the song: except it isn't how _I_ look, it's how I make _her_ look. Anything I do or feel reflects badly on her. I lost my crap once after repressing it for so long and it didn't end well. She still hasn't changed, and I don't think she ever will. I relate to these lyrics so hard.
I don’t! I’ve cut out all my family members even my brother the predator and the sick cousin who groomed me, told my grandmother she groomed me and blocked all of them. It’s Mother’s Day and my moms dead to me and when Father’s Day comes rolling around the corner my dad is dead to me. I AM DONE! Now my EX is DEAD TO ME. Oh well! 🤷♀️
Love this song.... such a powerful song about not listening to others and feeling your own broken heart... let it go in your own time and in your own way and then press that reset button.... Breakups hurt... Thank you Miranda for such an honest song.... Bless you. Namaste.

I think this is most girls when they have their heart broken, their crazy comes out through heartache, and most moms have this exact same advice! xD My crazy comes out through music and writing. How about yours? Or is it just me? x.x
I put a pie in his face and pushed him down a hill were my guy friends took care of him for me and he didnt die and then I fell in love with the new boy. Ps I am a girl!
i just spent 30 minutes trying to remember this song. all i had to go on was that it was country, by a short-ish blond woman, it was about something crazy, and i liked it. Last time i heard it was a year ago.
I like how this song is less about the actual breakup and more about the tendency of our older parents to coach us into suppressing our emotions like they were taught to do.

Kacey Musgrave wrote and recorded this song, but it was meant for Miranda.
Mostly old country here for country too
Edit: okay, reading that a second time it makes no sense but you get what I’m saying
This albums so underrated 😢
I love her music so much! This song is 🔥
She is one talented lady. She has it all, looks, great voice and can act.
Yes, she is quite good, she is gifted in acting as well as singing/ songwriting, performing , she is bad-assed.
This video is perfect for this song, and Miranda's acting is terrific. LOVE IT! If I get up the nerve to do the karaoke at an upcoming event, this will be my song.
Update: Life's short - I got up the nerve, did this song at karaoke, along with Miranda's "White Liar."
Need to remember, beauty can deadly nature shows us that. Some of the most beautiful animals are the most deadly. Now, look at the beautiful flowers. 😊 Remember, the cookies are always free.
I like this woman, every song is just better and better. Great entertainer hope to see her in concert!
Oh well! 🤷♀️
@@elegantlytarnished3774 yep same with my ex and mother I’m done! 😂
Ya'll have some seriously sad shit going on. Hit the brakes, don't pass it down to your kids.
One of my favorite songs by Miranda! I normally don't listen to country music, but I love listening to her!

Same
Some of her songs, a bit of older Taylor Swift, and old country that was about topics other that girls, cars/trucks, drugs, and/or getting drunk

Love this song.... such a powerful song about not listening to others and feeling your own broken heart... let it go in your own time and in your own way and then press that reset button.... Breakups hurt... Thank you Miranda for such an honest song.... Bless you. Namaste.

i just spent 30 minutes trying to remember this song. all i had to go on was that it was country, by a short-ish blond woman, it was about something crazy, and i liked it. Last time i heard it was a year ago.
