Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny - Final Boss - Golden Evil Statue

- It's the final boss. The...Golden "Evil" Statue. (Wow...what a name.) Wouldn't one assume that if Nobunaga were to put his power into a statue that that statue would be technically "evil"? Anyways...this final boss was really really hard this time around fighting it. I can't believe how long it too me to kill this thing and how many healing items I actually used just to live. I got a lot of close calls as well. I really don't remember this final boss being so hard, oh well. I still beat it and get rewarded with a pretty crappy end cinematic.
It's so epic when he goes full Oni, definitely one of those gaming moments I will cherish forever...
I remember playing fighting this boss like 100 times! Man is he hard...especially if you don't have a million medicines. I really am surprised he is not on any list of hardest final bosses. You spend hours mastering the sword, for it all to be thrown out the window to some Contra shooter for the final boss. Damn...the good ole days :)
Jubei have the best ultimate oni form so far
No Soki's final Oni form is truly the greatest.
Still one of the most hardcore boss entrances in gaming history.

I always watch News 3... and that program Todd Demers
does once a week for, "Pass It On" helps a lot of neighbors
who really need the help! I'd like to call such a situation,
"Converting Tears of Hurt,into Tears of Joy. There's many
people who cannot pay for anything they need in life,and
none of it was because of something they did,but was from
Illness,and other sad things happening all at the same time.
Such bosses are easier than supposed to be: run away from him (under penalty of being one-hit killed) and fireball him to death.
Thankfully the 3rd one had this option aswell as using the joystick

Near the end of 2017... and also... who played this didn't do very well... like how you can use the Ready position and aim, using small dashes to move around quickly, along with the fact that the fireballs of the right arm (before it gets destroyed) can be completely blocked.

I great game and a great series, sadly i never liked how you moved your characters in the first 2 using up
your thumb needs all the orbs and secret medicines you can give it after this battle.

what i don't understand, many oh this uploadee ending of onimusha 2 didnt add the final cutscene, where the hand of samanosuke reach his sword which bring the emotions of us saying "HOLY **** ONIMUSHA 3!!!"

If you have a functional PS2 then I heavily suggest you try out the third one, and DoD, but that's a game in itself (unlike the others).
It took me about five days to complete the whole game I such a noob (T_T)
I think the evil golden statue the best boss battle for sure

Finish the game within 5 hours and I think you'll get a weapon. Well just go on gamefly it will help.

@DecoySephiroth That's a good question actually. Well I maxed them out much earlier in the game because things can get quite annoying especially when fighting Nobunaga.
Great game but the final boss fight could've came up with something better
@DecoySephiroth Dawn of Dreams & Warlords are the only 2 that allow you to use any weapon vs. Final Boss.
game was way too long imo and screw the reply value if you wanted to get 100%. samanosuke is the true onimusha anyway
what pisses me off is that he didn't dodge a single head or lazer......cmon not that hard to dodge them=.=

ahh! this brings back memories. man this final boss was hard i have to say. But another great game by the capcom company.

The one black mark on an otherwise fantastic game. Whilst I don't mind this final boss, I still have to admit that it's really kinda dumb. This is still the best onimusha imo and my favorite one. I love 3 also.
