Micro B for the win! The ferrets liked watching it! They disappeared when the mini z came out! That’s a shame that the mini z has to use triple a batteries, this ain’t the 90s anymore. If it had a lipo battery, I think it would have been a better contender.
@@rcfixit9050 Since that comment my friends and I have bought two more, we now have 3 Typhon blx 223s between us. Fantastic performance for the money (and in general) but we have noticed they are very prone to breakage even with light use. So far we have broken the front right shock, front brace (not sure what it is called) and servo linkage arm. Still a great machine.
I agree as well. I love mine. I had been using it on tile floor and was a tone of fun then I finally got to run it on pavement and holly crap. Hook and book!!
First off love your course yeah that’s a lot of pumpkins. Super cool, I just subscribed Wednesday, October 16 watching now 5:26 PM. Just got my micro the silver one last week set up a little course in my driveway. I love it. I’m gonna get the white one also, they are lots of fun for such a little buggy. Appreciate the video and I’ll be watching for more.👍👍
I have both of these cars. I've put oil in the mini z shocks and replaced the motor with the faster x speed. Still overall like the micro b better. Mini z is better on the slick hardwood. Micro b for everything else. Especially since it's half the price
You need to put the supplied oil in the Mini-Z shocks, the car handles very well but the Micro B is a better car all around especially if you are good driver.
Heck, yeah love mine like I said I was going to get the white one. Also again appreciate the video. I’ll watched for the next one until then. Peace and chicken grease😁👍👍👋👋😎
Nice vid bro, I have the kyosho one, the down side (in my opinion) is that I have the brushless kit for it. But in order to do the conversion you will have to solder some wires that kind of sucks. Also the brushless kit is something around 200euros so I I think the micro b is a far better choice.
Perhaps your Mini-Z Buggy kit was different than mine. Mine came with oil shocks. You do need to fill them yourself with the included oil. Also, it come with extra gears, so you can gear it up to run faster. Third, you can set the speed controller to beginner mode (50%) or full power mode. Fourth, it will almost always be faster with a good set of rechargeable NIMH batteries. I'm sure the Micro B can be fun, and could be a better choice for you, but it appears that you did not look in the Mini-Z manual or explore what was in the box.
I've had the kyosho for, somewhere about 3 years now, and after making the video I did go and research it and yes the stock shocks are supposed to be oil shocks. After the video I put some silicone oil in and I still wasn't impressed, two are leaking pretty badly. Was running the Kyosho KYO71998 speedhouse batteries. Since I havn't used it much I'm planning on getting some nice aluminum shocks for it and putting it back to the test
That was a nice comparison video, I went and subscribed, it was very well presented. I'll try manage to watch some other videos at some point soon... Yeah, I've been wanting to buy a Mini Z for a while now, so I might actually get a Losi Micro instead, as you showed, it's really actually better value...
My Micro-B receiver has stopped functioning after a couple months and can’t get a replacement. Nice price for the little car but now it is worth even less.
Yes you are right, I honestly never researched it (which I should have done) since the car is already much slower and I don't think you'd ever really need it, but yes, my mistake
I don't know much about FPV unfortunately. Find some folks really into drones, although I don't think there's anything out there this small you'll have better luck searching over in that department

Great video, you sold me on the Losi micro B. Just picked up the Typhon blx 223s and that thing is a rocket!
I love both those buggies, they're very quick for how small they are

When the aftermarket takes off these Micro Bs are going to leave the Mini Zs in the dust!
i agree 100%
Idk, unless they make an awd version, even with the micro b, I still want both lol
Mini z parts for awd convers heheheh@@trailblazer8380

Losi really nailed the jumping ability of the micro B. I think these are going to be a big hit.
it really handles like a much bigger car
I was messing around with my Micro B last night and I am constantly surprised how fast it is. Can't wait for brushless mods lol.
I can't imagine how wild this thing would be brushless. I see people doing it to these already and it's gotta be wild
As a huge Mini-Z fan the Micro-B slays the Mini-Z in all aspects. No contest.

Cool seeing your ferret in the back! 😁 My ferret likes chasing my micro b around the house
Mine too, they'll chase anything though, sometimes the drift cars as well, at least they can't sink their teeth into the plastic tires, lol!
Great review
Awesome video. I love that homemade race track!
glad you like it, you should try making a creative track too :)
I bought 2 of the Losi. I love it. Great video. Ty.
Why two?
Heck, yeah love mine like I said I was going to get the white one. Also again appreciate the video. I’ll watched for the next one until then. Peace and chicken grease😁👍👍👋👋😎
glad you got one, they're fun lil buggers

thanks, I appreciate the compliment, just trying to have fun with youtube :) And grab one of those Losi cars as soon as you can, they're awesome
I always thought that slot car tracks would be great for mini rc. Could you make a thin foam or turf covering to convert yours for RC use?
That’s a great idea

@@jonerlandson1902 are they just out of stock? There should be a part number for it
Pro line tires!
It's very cool that they have legit tires on this and not generic branded
Bros got a whole pumpkin patch in his basement
Yeah it's a thing for sure, haha!
miniZ has a faster setting out of the box, pull the trigger 5 sec before turning on
Great video. FYI you can put the mini-z in training mode

Hi, I want to put a fpv camera on the losi, any recommandations ??
I don't know much about FPV unfortunately. Find some folks really into drones, although I don't think there's anything out there this small you'll have better luck searching over in that department
Micro B è di granlunga superiore della mini z buggy
U need to build a track at the store so I can whip yea lol
I wish i had the space haha
Where did you get all those pumpkins😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
as a side gig since I airbrush and my lady is artistic we paint pumpkins for a local farm stand lol
Kyosho looks 100x better.
I do like the 8th scale buggy look, the new yellow and blue scheme they have on these is really cool looking too
Losi is much better
Everyone's got their opinions
