  • For my "Star Wars: The Trilogy" series of fan edits, this is the Mos Eisley sequence.
The audio is the original 1977 mono mix. The video - Adywan's "Star Wars: Revisited" as a base, with his AVCHD release standing in for replaced shots - has been synchronized to this audio mix. The only changes that have been made to the audio are the addition of the SE dewback sounds (it was just a little ... off without them).
At first, the shot following the speeder fly-by may seem a bit awkward. First, I can assure you that the audio is exactly what it was in 1977. Second, the shot that normally followed the fly-by was removed entirely for the SE, and did not originally feature the landspeeder at all. I chose a shot that showed the landspeeder from as far a distance as possible, while not compromising the "sparse" feel of Mos Eisley that Lucas (apparently intentionally) ruined for the SE. I may add a subtle landspeeder sound effect to this shot to make it a little less jarring, but I doubt it at this point.
Some of what I considered to be the less convincing facial animations that Ady added to "Revisited" have been returned to their original state by using Adywan's AVCHD SE in place of the "Revisited" shots.
