As an Astro's fan and 65 years old I really enjoyed the tribute the Braves made to Hank Aaron. Few of us got to see such a remarkable baseball player. I sure miss the great players of that time.
It was grand that Hank Aaron was honored with his number in the outfield and his son being selected to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Even more so with Dusty Baker, his teammate of 7 seasons, coming to hug the Aaron family. Dusty Baker was on deck when Hank Aaron hit the 715th home run. Again, grand that Aaron's achievements could be honored! This series is exciting thus far. Keep up the momentum Atlanta and win!!!
Dusty is one of the classiest people in baseball probably and that is why. He was basically like a little brother to Hank and people should know how much Hank meant to Dusty and baseball in general.
Aaron is #1( or #2) in home runs. #1 in runs batted in. #3 in hits. #1 in total bases and is probably the most consistent hitter in history. He had 3775 hits. Take away his 755 home runs and he still had over 3000 hits. Hank has a legitimate claim to GOAT.
That's a classic in my book. 5 inning start for Anderson and 0 hits, and the shutout is completed by the bullpen. The Braves have something special going on right now, let's all cross our fingers that they don't Atlanta this away.

This is how tough the World series is supposed to be and if the Astros want to win, not a better team than the braves to overcome and vice versa. This is the time when the Astros generally shine so be on your guard Braves!
Ian Anderson just went 5 no hit innings against the best offensive team in the MLB as a rookie. I’m going to need to learn this guys routine before games because he’s really solidifying himself in the postseason. The bullpen was amazing as well.
1 thing I observed is that his release angle is very high unlike a lot of other pitchers which makes it very hard to discern between a fb and his breaking balls drop a lot downwards which gets a lot of easy contacts even if someone hits it.

As an Astro's fan, I told my wife if the Braves go on to beat the Astros it wouldn't bother me at all. After all, the Braves eliminated the whining Dodgers. To add to this story, I talked to some friends that went to Atlanta. They said the Braves fans were great. It was loud as it should be and they really enjoyed themselves. No one threw beer on them or spit on them like what happen when they went to a certain northeastern team. Good luck to Atlanta!!!! By the way, don't start celebrating just yet. The "Whining Dodgers" literally just took their series loss to ATL like men and even told those interviewing them that the injuries aren't an excuse to why they were outplayed and even mentioned how ATL is playing without Acuna. They actually hold themselves accountable, something that Bregman and Correa still don't know how to do.
There isn't a team I love listening to on the radio more than the Braves at home. Something about the crowd has always appealed to a radiocast super well.

Regardless of what your political views are I really think it was an injustice to the Braves fans throughout the world and the citizens of Atlanta for the All Star game to be moved away from them earlier this year. That was the BRAVES 1st world series home win since TOM GLAVINES masterful performance in the clinching game of the 1995 world series...
And it almost was the same score, but D'arnaud homer gave more advantage to the team.

@@eddydede4275 Same. The Rangers couldn't get past those Yankee teams in the late '90s. They did finally conquer them in 2010 to go to the World Series for the first time with Ron Washington (now the Braves third baseman coach) as manager.
