As someone with depression and anxiety this game makes a lot of sense i can say i found myself in this scenario more than once. sometimes you just refuse a great opportunity just because you're afraid of what might happen when in reality there's no way to know, your mind creates all these scenarios where stuff goes wrong or stuff goes right and it all becomes so overwhelming you might decide to stop and just stay home. All the endings are the true ending at some extent, he imagined all of them, his anxiety showed him all of them but YOU as a person get to decide which one is the real ending, you decide if that loop happens again or not. I myself have to get out of the loop still

As someone with depression and anxiety this game makes a lot of sense i can say i found myself in this scenario more than once. sometimes you just refuse a great opportunity just because you're afraid of what might happen when in reality there's no way to know, your mind creates all these scenarios where stuff goes wrong or stuff goes right and it all becomes so overwhelming you might decide to stop and just stay home. All the endings are the true ending at some extent, he imagined all of them, his anxiety showed him all of them but YOU as a person get to decide which one is the real ending, you decide if that loop happens again or not. I myself have to get out of the loop still
i some how relate to goose ending. sometimes i feel like i need to be all serious and "grown up" whenever im around others but really i just like being a fun happy go lucky type of guy

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I'm really sick of horror games where depression / anxiety was the villain all along. I never feel like they're as clever or as relatable as they're trying to be, and generalized "you suck, you're a failure, you're unlovable, you're crazy, etc." comments from a video game don't really make me feel rattled, just mildly annoyed and tired.
Seriously, especially considering the setting is in the city. I'm from New York, my mom says worse things at my childhood birthday parties.
