Revisiting this post a year later.... So I watched True Romance (a Tarantino screenplay) for the first time, just earlier today. And guess what happens to Gary Oldman's character..........yup.
Me three. I love that he tries to take control of the situation by telling her to stop acting crazy and she just plows through that. His outbursts shows that he’s no longer in charge.
Love this film , the acting in this scene is incorporated throughout , brutality , humour , brilliant music throughout . Pam Grier is one hell of an actress totally convincing as are the rest of the cast , 10/10.

Jackie Brown, however, turns the tables on Ordell, and convinces him what she is willing to do for him. Jackie brown is master of counter-offers against both criminals and the cops. Brilliant!

Most directors wouldn't bother to include the sound a lamp like that made back then when you would turn it down. They would buzz just before the light went all the way down.
Quentin has got to be the best screen writer in modern cinema. Especially as it relates to urban, seedy, dark movies. I bet more actors than would admit , want to be in his movies. Don’t retire quentin
i will always Love this movie by Quentin Tarantino. The movie opened up a appreciation in me for a love of movies.....for all future..... i have not really seen a more "cool" movie than Jackie Brown. It's just so dam good. Nope, i know nothing about movie making, not a micron about casting, directing.....plots.....scripts.....shooting..... But i believe in people that make these great movies.....those people are helping society and helping masses of lives along the way.... My life goes on, with the bonus of how this movie helped. The music is fantastic and transports this movie into a memorable gift. Thankyou, Quentin Tarantino.....and thanks to this channel for clip sharing. O___o
You're right, Jackie Brown is a masterpiece, the last of three consecutive gritty black comedy crime films that Tarantino made, Dogs and Pulp being the first two. Honestly thought Tarantino would just do these types of movies, like how Woody Allen was only making romantic comedy-dramas.
It was just amazing the way that actress switched from being a sweet prity flower to straightup bad azz🤘🤘 but i should have seen it coming coz of the way she was smoking on the cigarettes
