6:36 that song Maa by Shankar Mahadevan (the breathless song guy and part of the music director trio shankar-ehsaan-loy) is from the movie "Taare Zameen Par", listed on IMDb by its English title "like Stars on Earth". It was Aamir Khan's directorial debut and it is an absolute masterpiece! A very IMPORTANT film which I believe every parent and teacher the world over should be made to watch. This movie single handedly raised awareness for a very little known condition that affected lives of so many young kids and hopefully changed it for the better. I definitely think it should be the next in line for your movie review channel.

I literally want to post a comment for each song in this compilation and tell you the story about it cuz these songs literally were the only happy part of my childhood and I cannot stress more than this how important all these songs are to me 😭
I just realized how good was that era. In that time I did not rate the music so highly. But now looking back at it the bad ones have filtered out and the good one were really really good.

I think Waleska And Efra need to do a podcast on each singer specifically like one for Arijit, Shreya, Sunidhi, Atif, Lata Mangeshkar, Shankar Mahadevan etc. but all spaced out so it doesn't get repetitive for them and us even though they are all distinctly unique

Can't believe they did not include "Main Deewana by Ganesh Hegde" in the top 100. He ruled the charts for a complete year. Choreographer turned Singer, Producer and Director. It was super popular in early 2005-6. You should check out the song. Way ahead of his time.

They all come from brilliant evergreen albums (there were multiple songs in the list from all these albums) and all except the last one are great movies to check out.

6:36 people don't know this fact this song was sung by kk, but shankar wanted to change something in the song lyrics so he called KK again but KK said he cant come hes with family and told shankar that he can sing it very well he should do it. There is an unreleased and the first version which was sung by kk❤️❤️❤️❤️

This playlist is good but one thing i regret so much is rehna tu by AR rahman is probably one of his best songs ever and is from same movie Delhi-6 but never makes to any playlists. probably the most underrated bollywood song. i highly recommend you to check it out.
My top favourite lifetime Bollywood song is tum dil ki dhadkan mein (at 12:21 ). All the songs in dhadkan drama are good especially when his ex-bf play singing the song while playing piono. The emotion 🥺 .

Also, what I've seen a lot of people do to get out of copyright strikes is do streams on Discord. So like they'll do a watch party on discord and watch movies with the whole server, or watch music videos on the server and it works well.
Only downside would be saving the video, unless you record the stream somehow and upload an edited version on youtube. Idk but just an idea. Tho it would be cool to do a movie live watch party with you guys.

Thanks, most of these songs indeed were great ones from those movies, what an melodious era of our early youth. KK songs there never were any bad ones, he is a legend that is very truly missed for our times. He sang tremendous hits for films of Emraan Hashmi. In the scenes where someone is playing an instrument or otherwise it is not real only reel which is quite obvious to all. Not a fan of Himesh Reshammiya, but he did have some good songs, he became popular for his nasally tone which was different. The song Babuji Dheere Chalna was from a 1954 film Aar-Paar. You should check out Jagjit Singh from the Ghazal genre, earlier AR Rahman songs of 1990s-2000s movies.
