We need an official release. Stephen Bray recently said that a “good copy” of this is in his possession. This was most likely secretly recorded as it played in a room without Madonna or Stephen’s permission. There is cleaned up professional copy of this around. Hopefully Madonna will release this along with other gems like “Warning Signs” and “Desperately Seeking Susan”!!!!

This is the best version of the song. It would’ve been a huge hit for Madonna if she released it.
She turned it down and gave it to Nick Kamen who had a big hit with it. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2021.
