I was about to pull the trigger on a dual motor but Segway putting out a nine bot with max 28mph…I will wait for preorder to open! Thanks for covering guys! Can’t wait for full review
Thanks for watching! We are excited for the Gen 3 lineup.
Top notch review, fast, to the point, no BS. effective and efficient!❤
I owned a Segway and it was one of the 1st scooter that I started out on! It was so unsafe because you had to manually foot push it to get the electric motors to turn on and at intersections cars did not anticipate at delay of 2-3 seconds before the Segway ran on its own power. Top speed was only 19 mph too!😮
Just recently received my ZT3 Pro, absolutely love it for my daily use! I just hope it lasts longer than my previous two no-name scooters, a year each. Needed something that could comfortably go at least 10 miles on a single charge, actually reach 25 mph min, and light enough to carry up several flights of stairs daily. ZT3 Pro fit the bill... though it is still quite heavy, but not too heavy for a bulky boy like me! 💪 Seems durable too, like it'll last a long time... but time and harsh weather will tell.
Glad to hear it’s working out for you so far! 💪
So stoked to see a high powered scooter from these guys and it appears to be quality built as well!!
3:05 oohhh Shibby time Mike!
I thought you said sh**y time… 😂
The strongest word in my vocabulary is “shucks!”
Long term ownership and real life range will tell how good these new vehicles are.
I knew I could count on you guys!! - love the breakdown on actual details rather than just riding the jock because it's something new - I still prefer a commuter w/ fold down handle bars like Vsett because I live in a tiny house BUT I know Ninebot/Segway has an excellent build AND the back up port so i don't have to carry a brick w/ me is SO CLUTCH !! hope to test ride one soon!!
We are looking forward to doing a full review of all the new scooters and ebikes as they start to roll out this year.
*Segway, one of the OGs of PEVs still in the game*
🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽
Those bikes are probably the best picks from those, nice escooters too though.
I absolutely love your videos. They're the best in scooter reviews

He rings the bell multiple times, but I hear only the thumb switch clicking. 😝. Gotta love hearing loss.
😳
Just recently got a Max G2. Neat to see where they're going with their new scooters. :)
How do you like it?
@@XoaGray Wanted to get one to replace the aging & tired G30. But decided to wait for the upcoming G3. If it lives up to the G2's excellent rep, gonna get one, if they screwed it up, gonna get the G2.
@freshlycharged I like it quite a bit. I’ve been using it just for running a little errands all over the place. Feels like a really good fit for my first scooter.
@@JonathanStrome makes perfect sense to me. Price could make a difference too. The G2 is $800 right now at Best Buy. That was the tipping point for me.
Thanks for the covering the eScooters!
Im surprised you didn't cover Max g3, i think that will be their biggest seller. I love my max g2. Im definitely upgrading.
We did cover it in the video at the 9:28 mark.
Thanks for the great review. I noticed you mentioned being able to slide on the G3 however the video shows you sliding on an F3. Any feedback on the F3's performance/handling? Cheers
Very practical machines.
They will be legal to ride in NSW Australia soon.
NSW Austraila is changing their rules on electric scooters?
Finally IPx6! No longer vulnerable in the rain.
As someone leaning toward an Apollo Phantom 2.0 Stellar, Segway have come out swinging! 72v isn't my priority, especially since its 0-38km/h times are the same as the Phantom @ 60v & the Segway's top speed still a bit slower. Plus it's tough to give up the dedicated regen on an Apollo. Apollo's approach to signal lights is a bit more advanced as well - they're visible from the front an back, at the extremities of the handgrips. Glad to see it's more "portable", but it's still a good 10lbs heavier than the Phantom. Still, the Segway's range should be exceptional if the claimed range is viable.
I'm not promoting the Phantom, rather as someone who's put > 7k kms on scooters in 2023, I'm weighing my own priorities.
Glad to see Segway taking the genre seriously.
Looks like nice progress.
2025 making it nice.
Riding a scooter or ebike in New Zealand would be nice for 2025!
@freshlycharged I'm on both euc and escooter, sometimes at once. There's more cycle lanes and tracks in New Zealand have opened extended all about, I hope we all get to see many.
I can't fund or host yous myself currently but if yous down this way, say Auckland, or Northland let me know I could be up for some wheeling.
Thank you. Wishing you nice success and to be well.
Hell yeah! A real horn and a bell haha
will you guys review a victor luxury plus in the future?? really waiting for a vid like this!
We will be! Should be coming soon.
I’m getting the Ninebot Max G3 fo sho ❤
That electric bike looks like a winner in my book, if they keep improving on that design, it will be a phenomenal electric bike, especially with full suspension, and the extra battery addition. 35mph for a bike is dope, technically not an electric dirtbike since it has pedals.
We are glad to see they unclassified it because it's a solid big bike that deserves to go fast!
@freshlycharged I wonder with the speed being 35mph what the range would be, since the website claims 110miles with two batteries. I'm assuming that's probably at 15-20mph average. So maybe like 50-70 miles around 30mph
@@giovannispagnoli8040 for the GT1 and 2 they based the range off 12mph :( Upgrade ur range Segway!!!
@greenwave819 that's pretty garbage, but the bike still is promising overall, plus you can pedal, so range will always vary
just pulled the trigger and ordered myself the gt3 superscooter!!! planning on using it to do some longer-distance commuting throughout the city of new orleans. my big question is how the gps functionality on that scooter works? does it link with google/apple maps?? also ; from my understanding the only difference between gt3 and gt3 pro is the pro is dual motor vs the gt being single motor? any clarification would be greatly appreciated. nice vid y'all!!!
im glad to hear that! im from segway r&d team, thanx for supporting us!
the navigation function works with segway app, you can search your destinations and select routing on the segway app just like you are doing with the google map. and the segway app will project the navigation data to the TFT display on your scooter(in turn by turn direction mode at this moment) .
we actually re-positioned the gt3 and the gt3pro. gt3 is more like an long distance commuter(just like how you are going to use it! ) and it is also more market friendly. it‘s more like a successor of our P100s. and the gt3pro is the real successor to the old gt2, our top performance scooter.
so, the gt3pro has got a lot more power than the gt3, 7000W max power and 50mph top speed, also a much larger 2160Wh battery. and linkage adjustable front hydraulic suspension and also hydraulic brakes. and some new features such as S-ABS.
let me know if you got more questions. and thanx again for supporting segway!
Really love the new GT3 and GT3 Pro, does the stem latch at all when you fold it down? Ideally it would at least keep the stem from sliding side by side when in storage. I see a hook on the stem, but I cannot be sure. Thanks guys! Amazing review of these new beasts!
sorry...the hook is only for hanging bags...🤣
The scooters suspension is kind of looking like the Dualtron Pop
The scooter suspension kind of looks similar to the Pop but it’s a lot more cushy and doesn’t have weird noises coming from it.
@@freshlychargedThe weird noises is why we get Dualtrons 😊
@@JonathanStrome 😂
@@JonathanStrome which one do you have??
@freddyfearlessguy Pop double motor. 😁
🎬💥 Exceptional job! Your knowledge is very impressive. 🎯
I hope g3 will have fixed g2s suspension issues. There's also a reddit thread showing that the internal charger has issues, and will fail for many after some time, due to bad heat transfer/dissipation.
I have the St2 Pro, which is the unreleased version of the GT3 Pro. Same spec just smaller battery around 72v 1400wh. Also goes to 50mph, peak 7000w power. I got it for $680.
Did you get it used? I know there was an employee who was selling the prototype that left Segway.
@ not used. Brand new inside original box.
did you get a chance to check out the f series as well? i love that they added suspension to their whole lineup now.
We did have a chance to check out the F series. All of their scooters have made some amazing improvements for their Gen 3 lineup.
im from segway r&d team, thanx for supporting us! we transplant the front hydraulic suspension of the g2 to our new f3, and also developed a new elastomer suspension for the rear, it makes some really smooth rides. let me know if you have any questions about our new 3rd gen products
Great review, does the GT3 pro only have the horn or the bell as well? Small thing but as you say I need a bell as well the horn like the GT3.
I was wondering the same thing but it be odd if the higher end didn't have it
@@damonstuff880Both have it.
yes, the gt3 and gt3pro have got both bells and horns. im from segway r&d team, hit me with any questions about our new 3rd gen products!
They both have a motorcycle grade horn and bell.
Max G3 ❤
Very impressed by that speed-class ebike, top speed of...?
Currently 35 mph. However, programmers have been able to unlock higher speeds on Segway products but it voids the warranty.
Are you gonna do a review on the Xyber e-bike?
We hope to receive it shortly to do a full review.
👍 Looking forward to it!
With the "shopping cart" front wheel, are they dampening the shaft? Or is stability inherent with the rake angle? How does it compare to the pro1 & 2?
It was very stable at higher speeds. Never felt unstable but we were not allowed to take it off the test demo area and reach the top speed.
OMG what was bleeped out when talking about the Xyber?
We've gotta find out!!!
@@greenwave819 definitely that could be the difference between buying and not
Can you read Andrew's lips and guess what he said?
How much is the max g3 expected to cost
They have not set a price but we would guess around the $900-$1000.
I still love my Dualtrons but this really got my attention
Dualtron scooters are nice, but we find Segways build quality is superior.
@freshlycharged unfortunately you're right. Dualtron really needs to step up their game. Kaabo, Inmotion, Nami, Roadrunner, and Emove are really leaving them behind. I was kind of hoping that the Dualtron/Teverun merger might help them, but that didn't appear to be the case.
Dualtrons definitely suck and they are too stubborn to utilize tubeless tires. I'm glad I never got one and went with VMAX instead!
@@chaxologist2024 I'm running PMT's on mine and the difference is night and day. Now it handles like it's on rails. I've done quite a few other upgrades which have made a huge difference. I've had it for almost 3 years and it still does what I need it to do. I have no reason to replace it. The batteries are still holding up just fine. When they go out I might go with something different.
Thanks for the review guys as I've been eyeing the GT3 Pro. How would you rate the acceleration of the GT3 Pro against other hyper scooters like the Teewing XTR and Inmotion RS? I'm seriously considering picking one up but I don't want to be left in the dust although I know they have much higher top speeds. Thanks!
Any idea when G3 is coming to the EU. Is it Q2 like the GT3?
They are estimating early Q2, but it could get delayed.
Does the Xafari use a cadence sensor or torque sensor? The website does not say clearly. Very interested in the e-bike and specs but that’s the only spec holding me back from making a decision. Thanks!
So, which is their absolute flagship for 2025? I have the GT2, do I need to upgrade?
Love your vids!
Thanks for the support! 😍
How do you power slide on a scooter?
That g3 is attractive
72v Segway? This is like the GT3 of scooters...wait
The power delivery is incredible on the 72V system.
We want videos about the Emove Project Daytona
I think between those two scooters this one and Daytona the speed lovers will always pick the Daytona. Segway is more for people that like slower easy going speeds
The Daytona is currently a prototype at this moment.
so can you unlock the ebike speed ?
Programmers have been able to unlock higher speeds on other Segway products but it does void your warranty.
do the GT3 have also a build in charger?
no..only the g3 have got the build in charger
No discount codes at this time?
They have discount on the items that are on preorder now.
Nice machine, but I only ride EUC’s❤
Спасибо
Dear Freshly Charged…
Please try to review the Geofought MOLO 5
72V 50ah , 10000Watts or 15000W
Sounds like a beast.
@ I wish you will try to review this little Beast that makes Talaria and Surron Cry
What do you think the price will be for the max g3?
Our guess would be around the $900-$1000 mark.
besides brakes and motor and battery
what's the difference between pro and gt3 ?
50 mph top speed vs 31 mph, adjustable hydraulic suspension vs telescopic, weight, and range.
How much is the gt3 pro?😊
They have not set the price for the GT3 Pro yet.
nice
im so hyped for the new g3 max
I wish these scooters were legal😢The max speed for most countries in europe is 15mph/25kmh but in western europe the laws are getting EVEN stricter
yes it's ridiculous. It's like for the government all escooters are those e tiny Xiaomi thingy with shopping cart wheels with no suspension at all.
Why so strict?
@@freshlycharged In Italy and Germany you have to wear a helmet+the max speed allowed is 20kmh/12mph and you have to get insurance
@steve-j3j9kthat’s insane. Wearing helmet to go 20km/h. Bicycles are non restricted at all.
Similar in Poland. 20km/h (kinds on kids bikes are faster than me on full suspension scooter lol), but no helmet or insurance yet. Also police is rather ok seeing scooter doings 30 in cities (on bike lanes with proper cycling infrastructure ). Also in Poland we cannot ride on roads (unless road is below 30km/h). So basically if you’re not in a big city, you cannot legally use scooter. It’s insanely bad law. But like I said the only saving grace is the police not being assholes.
In addition there are some politics try to lobby a police patrols with a mobile weights and dyno checking if you are not doing more than 20 and you scooter is 30kg max. I can easily go 40 on non electric bicycle, without breaking any rules. On the other hand, there are plenty stupid kids doing 50 on sidewalks just asking for troubles.
we will release legal versions for gt3 in euro and german, but the gt3pro will be not street legal in euro...
Gt3 Price ??
Currently $1499.
@@freshlycharged cad or usd??
What did you say at @1:07 ……you can say it here. I won’t say a thing.
What do you think we said? Can you read Andrew’s lips?
@@freshlychargedI’ve watched it over 10 times, I’m thinking something about unlocking
Clearly, the 35mph is with a single battery, with dual batteries it'll hit 43 or more like the gt2 can with full power, they both will have 6kw output.
@@RedMag01 you're pretty good at reading lips. Programmers have been able to unlock higher top speeds on the Segway products but it voids your warranty.
@ so I take the the extra battery doesn’t change that.
30-40mph is like that meh range, its too fast for sidewalks but not fast enough for most roads. So either make it sidewalk friendly or road speeds of up to 60mph
Europe markets would appreciate anything that goes over 18 mph. We love high powered scooters, but the general public is happy with 40 mph.
@@freshlycharged In canada, most roads are 60kmh to 80kmh. However most people are going 10-20 over the speed limit and that's how it is. So realistically you need that extra speed.
GT3 Pro - "twist" throttle is just сrар! . I drove 500km on my GT2 and then replaced this shiт. Also it's dangerous, when I wanted to grab grip to move my GT2 a little bit, a throttle kicked and scooter jumped out of me.. this happened several times.. omg, I hope I could replace to thumb throttle much easier... in this GT3 Pro with perhaps same grip like from G3.
We prefer a twist throttle but you can also turn on kick to start if you keep having that issue.
@@freshlycharged ride, stop, it move scooter, P will not be activated, then just move scooter for sure holding a grips, and then you have this bad situation. So P mode won’t help. Just only thumb throttle will and always be much safer.
Why does it even have pedals?
Some cities in America require items without pedals to be registered and insured regardless of their classification.
Im from europe the maximum speed of scooters are 25 kmh or 15 mph
Screw that
Im getting the G3 Pro
I have a licence, i know how to drive a scooter safely. I just want to get around a bit faster
We love living in America for that reason. But free healthcare in Europe is nice. It's a tradeoff!
Performance per $ just isn’t there. 72v scooter that only goes 49 for 3k.. 48v bike.. 🙄.
half helmet for a fast electric scooter? your teeth are insured? :D
But how you compare it to teverun/dualtrons? Same class? Better/worse?
The acceleration is great and overall build quality is superior to Dualtron or Teverun scooters.
@@freshlycharged Nice. Thanks! I only wish they will be sold where i live :)

Turkce ogrensenéee laaa
We aren’t sure what that is.
Didn't know you guys were bought and sold by Segway. Segway scooters are 2x the price and 1/2 the performance of pretty much all other scooters out there. I'll take My inmotion RS that goes twice as fast thanks.
Its horrible... only sponsered people are promoting them for a reason. Slow, cheap and over priced. Even a $400 Hiboy does what those i nthe video do, lmao.
There is a video on youtube of a guy going over 70mph on a scooter down the interstate. Literally on a limited access highway going 70 plus MPH. This is what dumb people do when you allow them to make their own decisions. These things are WAY too fast.
My curreny scooter goes 70 mph and to me it very safe because you have the power to drive it safely on the streets.😊
@@Agent77X Scooters are inherently unstable at speed. It is very easy to lose control of a scooter, especially when something goes wrong. 70 miles per hour is over 100 feet per second (102.6 to be more precise).
