In your example at 5:17 I think you meant polymetric not polyrhythmic. (polymeter = different numbers of same-length steps, downbeats are not aligned; whereas polyrhythm = different numbers of steps within the same length measure, downbeats are aligned.) You need to use the Divide Mode to create polyrhythms on Patterning.
Hi everyone, I have a question if you can help me..With Patterning2 via midi I was able to work with Fogue Machine unfortunately I can't get it to work with P 3 can anyone get them to talk together?Thx
I wish P2 was still available on Ipad for 9.99, or price it closer to where someone with a $25 gift card can score it- but NOOOOOO, it's gotta be super out of touch expensive and make me buy $50 in giftcards - it makes me sad. Great video though, saved and sub'd for when I do when the lottery and qualify to finance this piece of drum mACHINE history. - Seriously, give us P2 @ 9.99 please. Sure, P for IPhone is great and thx - but i am a super serious producer and totally need to be able to make sample kits to show off my collection of sampled from radio snare drums from an old obscure AM station and some cool number station blips that i used to recreate..... kidding. See, I need P2 for $10 - sans I go absolute mad.
@OlympiaNoiseCo Any guidance on Reverb/Delay settings? We can't find them!
Hey! I didn’t see this! They’re on the FX track now. Select the FX track and all the effect controls are on the right.
@@OlympiaNoiseCo Thanks for the update 🙏

Thanks for clarifying 👍
@@rateandfollow It's all good. Polymeters are a lot of fun and are at the core of phased rhythm techniques. The cool thing is Patterning does both!
Pretty much the sole reason I still own an iPad. Incredible app.
Haha yup! My iPad hasn't had this much love in forever.
Imagine this in a eurorack module with a bunch of gates and cv going out… love it since the first version
I'm sure there are eurorack gizmos that do similar! A midi to cv converter might do it too.
Where have the moved the FX editing for reverb and delay parameters? It used to be at the top left.
Yes I have to confess I was having difficulties finding this too.
Me too :/
Anyone know what this app is like in Logic on iPad? Does logic record what you input ?
Is there midi out? Like if I wanted to use the patterning patterns to play other AUs (other drums, synths, etc).
Yes. See the video I link to. I'll be making another video this week about MIDI Out and AUs.
AU MIDI out don't work in Ableton Live, need VST3 wrapper.
Love this app
Yup it's awesome. Can't believe I forgot to show the AUM experience!
@@rateandfollow yes that’s a huge plus
external midi synth demo soon?
Hopefully later this week

Really cool
It's great isn't it?
Best trigger sequencer ever created
Completely agree

Incredible copypasta material here
