To be honest I like the concept of trial maps being decided by number of respawns instead of time. Having a trial map leaderboard in platform mode would be so cool
I think its cool to finally have some super difficult final boss medals from nadeo. It adds longevity and that you just don't beat it in a day and move on. but can spend weeks or moths on it if you want to go for the AT.
I don’t know..pro players complaining for years that it’s not enough official hard content, and then they get it and complains it’s too hard. And that is with knowing doing sub optimal strats only to complain it doesn’t work. And refusing to watch the solution available to them. This isn’t comment directed specifically towards Lars, he’s been doing better than many others. But in general a lot of complaining. In the start of the campaign it was complains about it being too easy and now it’s too hard. Guess it’s in the human nature to complain about everything. Including this comment lol.
Deep dip 2 is definitely harder than the blue platform maps. I played DD2 for probably 20 hours and I didn't get far beyond start of level 1. I didn't try the last blue platform map yet but the rest didn't take too long for no respawns. Those black maps are a bit too crazy indeed definitely if they expect people to grind for no respawns. I think it could be fun with a leaderboard (ideally ranked by nb of respawns then time).
If these author times will be achieved by very few players then they can make a ranking based on total number of respawns and then sort players with same total number based on respawns for cp. You have 20 respawns in total and you didn't need one to reach the first cp, so you are at the top and so on...
Platform mode campaign seems to struggle due to one major issue: Mismanaged expectations. Nobody really understands what Nadeo wanted to achieve with it and everyone expects something slightly different. Maybe they intended it for trials maps, in which case these maps would be actually perfect?
Correct me if i'm wrong, but map 25 isnt the hardest map for like 3 campaigns in a row now, no? It's like 25 spot was pushed to 24 and now spot 25 is for cameos (if applicable)
After watching Granady take 5-10min to see where to go, it's quite amazing to see Lars get it from first look at the route. damn

I've seen Lars finish entire campaigns with all author medals faster than map 24 here

This platrorms Maos are not for befunnets. Map24 Will take a bigginer Will problelly stop playing when or if they get there.
