To answer the description question, quadruple backflips off of trampettes are not allowed in competition. Also, only one person (Andreas Rahbek) ever seems to have successfully done it.
I know next to nothing about the sport, so forgive me if this is a silly question. Why aren't quadruple backflips allowed? For safety reasons? Like is a triple backflip okay, but not a quadruple?

playing on A17 to get through A18 made me realize how amazing Baalor's gameplay has been. Thank you for always showing that this game can still be enjoyed on even higher difficulties (even though it often makes me frustated)!
Too relatable I’ve been stuck on a17 silent for several runs now. The jump up in difficulty from normal enemies having “more diverse and challenging move sets” is not to be underestimated!
A17 is like, the biggest difficulty jump in the game idc what anyone says it completely puts you in your place and shows you all the ways you're messing up
My first a20 defect heart kill was on a boss swap into runic done, I literally said “whelp this run is fucked I don’t know enough attack info to make it to heart yet with this” and then proceeded to stomp with coffee dripper after first boss
Seeing how juzu did proc in act 3 during the mind bloom event, if he didnt have it would mind bloom have appeared in the next event space or would it have skipped that event?
Whenever i picked ring of the serpant.. I still drew 7 cards on turn 1.. is it therefore a bug? Or is it intentional? Because of that at least i allways thought of it as pretty much an okay boss relic and not bad or worse than most.. scratch that last part xD i still think it is worse than most other boss relics and what came to my mind is that it happened while playing it on XBox... dont know if that matters... never picked that relic while playing on steam on pc
I would like to know: "Is there a rule of thumbs as to how much card draw you want to have at which size of your deck"? or is it simply a matter of feel?
Depends on your various factors. Size of deck doesn't play as much of a role as is energy. If you have a lot of energy, you want to have card draw to use it efficiently. With 3 energy at the beginning, you can have only 1 card draw card(backflip usually or acrobatics, if nothing else), lest you simply draw cards and do nothing else. If you have energy cards, card draw pays for itself, so that you get into the card that you wanna play. Rule of thumb is that your pure card draw not exceed 25% of energy costs. That's why adrenaline is a great card. It's energy and draw positive(it's +(2-1) draw x+1(*2*)/x energy). Deck size matters, so that you draw less cards that you don't want to play. You draw 5 cards. A 15 card deck means that worst case scenario would be for you to see your "trump" card on the 3rd turn. A 40 card deck like displayed here, would be 8 turns. Acrobatics+ makes you have x-1/x energy on that turn for y-3/y on your card deck total. It's -3 instead of -4, because acrobatics itself is a card and its presence adds a card to your deck. As you can surmise, the deck total can go into the negatives. That would be drawing your deck total twice to replay a specific card. Say you look to play fleccetes, because it's the only attack you have in a pool of skills. Having 14+1 cards with 3 powers (-1 to deck total once played) and 3 acrobatics+(-9) with 4 energy, means that you have an effective 5 card pool and can play flecettes every turn. After setup, you can be assured of dealing lots and consistent damage starting with turn 2-3. Given that a fight lasts 3-4 turns, that's ideal. If it takes longer, it's not consistent and you take unnecessary damage. Acceptable early game and first half of act 2, but it's the marks of a failed run, if you are still alive, from that point onward.

@ErikHolten in game your energy is being depicted as 3 / 3. So a 3-1/3 indicates that the use of the card effectively leaves you with 2 / 3 energy. Asterisks are a text fail on my part. If you write a word and sandwich it between asterisks like this [*energy*] without the brackets, then it becomes this; *energy*
While there is a theoretical limit to how many adrenalines a deck can have before it becomes a bad idea to take more (bc of time eater), you won't ever in reality find that limit.

This is a known bug on certain platforms, where Ring of the Serpent causes you to draw 7 on every turn.

If you already have velvet choker, taking too many of them can be questionable
It's difficult for adrenaline to be worse than skipping, but it might be against another rare card that's better in the moment.
