You're saying as if his dad is from the stone age, lol. Whereas he could be younger than the the generation that sent humans to the Moon.
Much of the technology inside drones existed in his dad's childhood: television, radio controls, microchips, automated flight control, batteries. It just got miniaturized and became cheaper.
Moreover, his dad could the one who taught Mr. Steele about RC hobbies at first.

It always blows my mind that you can fly acro mode indoors with these little woops. Throttle management is so touchy.
Spectrum analyzer seems like a key tool to have for anyone serious about flying. A full video dedicated to it is a must! Haven't seen anyone even talk about them other than you so please do share.

Hi Steele, thanks for your amazing videos ! If I'm not mistaken, the shortest antenna on the RFExplorer is a narrow band 2.4GHz Whip antenna, referring to the user manual (eventhough that seems counter-intuitive). The rubberduckie antenna you put on the right is designed for 5.8GHz but also good for 2.4GHz band. Maybe you should swap these two antennas. Hope that helps... keep up the good work! Can't wait to see your next flights ! Take care.

please do an entire video on the RF Explorer and how to use it. It looks like a really useful tool. Interested in getting one that goes into the lower MHz so I can use it in FM radio work, but also up to 5.8 for FPV video.

Instead of a video on the analyzer, do one when you're roaming a new location and go over everything you do before flying and talk through it. Not just your flight plan but all the "safety" checks you do.
